I Mr Rabindranath Gupta, residing at 'Asokas' 14 Asoka road, Flat 6C, Alipur Kolkata 27, Tel: 9830065950, 22427386 booked a new Maruti Ritz Car by dealer Dewar's Garage Limited in Kolkata address is 4, Council House Street, Kolkata 700 001. Phone no is 40214500. I had booked a car on 1st march 2011 for white color Ritz. I have also exchanged my carWagon R LXI and given to the dealer on 2nd March 2011. I was promised the new car within 15 days and the same has not been delivered even after a month. Even after several reminders I was again promised the new car before by 31st March 2011 and the same has not been delivered till date. Even after my telecon with Mr Deman Basu, MrRaju Patra, and Mr Sujeet Sharma have given contradictory statements over the phone, which the company should be ashamed of.
I am a handicapped person with bamboo spine and my both hip joints are replaced. and even gave away my old car in exchange and currently suffering without a car due to false promise by the dealer. I have further lost my depreciation on the Car because the car was not delivered before 31st March. I cannot travel without personnel car because I am handicap and have lost business because I could not visit my office for several days now. Mr EMI starts on 10th of April and I still do not have the car with me. I also chose white color because it is easily available and I would get easy delivery of the Car.
I did not expect this from Maruti as a prestigious Company and this very unprofessional behavior by Maruti Dealer which is not good for the reputation of the Company. I intend and would be compelled to take legal action against the dealer and Company and move the Consumer Forum unless my complaint is heard at the earliest and necessary compensation is provided to me along with the car.
