Unauthorized charges
Over the internet I ordered Caracol cream and it was advertised that I could use it and if I did not return it within 30 days then I would not be charged the $14.50 for the product.
After speaking to my doctor who was getting ready to preform a procedure on my face, I returned the product unopened. Therefore, I should never have been charged anything.
Every month for the last four months I have been charged $68.90 from this company and to date I am arguing with the credit card company to have this charge removed from my Washigto Mutual credit card.
The Caracol cream company is located in Ontario, CA and they do not have a good phone number, so I cannot speak to anyone there.

An absolute scam & forget about getting your money back
This company is an absolute scam. First you think you're just accepting a "free trial" and then, they have your checking account information and are automatically deducting $68.90/month from your checking account. Then once you received these erroneous shipments, per reps Ludmica & David, you must #1 pay the shipment to return to 5300 Ontario Mills Pkwy., Unit #400, Ontario, CA 91764, you must insure the packages (all must be separate packages). Forget speaking to a manager or someone who actually cares that your were sold this product under false pretenses, these people apparently do not exist. I was told by both of the above reps that if these UNOPENED packages are returned, they will not credit the amount deducted from my checking account. I feel like I've been completely duped! I did not know they were going to use my checking account to continually send me boxes and charge me 68.90/month. There is another address listed on the BBB website: 423 Bussen Underground Road, St. Louis, MO 63129 and when I asked the rep about it, she said she didn't think it was still part of Caracol Cream. All of this and I had absolutely NO reduction of fine lines or wrinkles as stated on their website!

Caracol Cream is Good
I signed up for the 14 day Risk Free Trial offer back in February and I had no problem at all. It stated in the terms and conditions that I would be billed the amount of $60.00 if I did not return the unused portion of my trial offer jar within the 14 day trial period, and that I would be placed on a preferred customer club.
In no way did I find Caracol Cream to be a scam, they indicated in an email confirmation that I would be billed and placed on this club, also once I received each shipment it indicated the terms and conditions of my agreed to contract.
I am not a member of the preferred customer club any more due to the fact that I most recently lost my job, and unfortunately I had to sacrifice my cream :(. I also returned my most recent shipment under the 60 day guarantee that they offer and was advised to insure my return, which I did. The credit has been applied and I have had no problems there.
If anything I would like to say that you people are careless and uneducated. I see many comments on this blog board with ladies and gentlemen claiming that they were scammed. If you were in fact scammed and the company was fraudulently charging customers wouldn't you think that they would be shut down? I quite frequently order products online and I am fully aware of everything that I order (well when I could afford to), if people actually took the time to read then you wouldn't have these problems.
Personally I would have to say that a lot of the people that are posting on here are scam artist. Quote: "ONLY WAY OUT IS REPORT YOUR CARD AS STOLEN to your financial instituition. That will work, I promise! And quite truthfully that is what they do, steal from you!!!". blogged by: Joseph L. Rocha
Does this not clearly state that Joseph has lied to his Credit Card Company? This is one of many examples that I can use which shows a lack of consumer integrity. So Joseph first lied to his Credit Card company about the charges after he authorized for his credit card to be billed by Caracol Cream, and then he had the nerve to post bad things about Caracol Cream on the internet.
I back Caracol Cream up 100%. People need to start taking ownership for their own mistakes and stop blaming others. Caracol Cream is a wonderful product and you people are ruining their name because of your lack of education and integrity.

high billing, unordered products
Nowhere was a 14 day trial and full price of this cream mentioned prominently on their web ad. I vaguely recall something about this costing $30.+ if i didn't return it within 14 days. That was not mentioned on the web page, but in a paper from the box. I was billed $59. and change. Then I received another jar of the cream which I did not order and which will show up on my credit card too. I called the credit card company, canceled my card for a new one, and will attempt to give the unopened second package to the post office. I don't know if it came via mail or UPS as the packaging is unclear.
I do like the cream, it's too bad they are messing up on their orders and billing and honesty.
Signed, Mrs. Very Upset

Scam
I sent for the "free" sample and was billed for the free sample. I have since been billed twice and am trying to get straightened out with my credit card company. I never ordered, tried to return but couldn't find an address and there is no phone number listed any where. I wish I saw this site before I signed up for a "not so free sample"
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

cancellation evasion
I ordered a trial order of caracol cream and want to stop further shipments. I looked for a contact email or phone number of the packaging and could find none. I since have received a second bottle in the mail again with no contact numbers. I want to stop further shipments and charges and would like this done immediately. Also when you look on the packaging or the bottle to see what is in the product it is either so small you cannot read it or there is nothing on the bottle and there is no insert to read. This raised my suspicion that this is fraudulent merchandise. Any assistance in this matter will be appreciated.

Misuse of cards
I first heard about this beauty treatment through an ad on the web site of the New York Times and I thought I could be confident ! Great mistake on my side . The cream they sent to me was supposed to be free but they charged my credit card and even worse they sent a second time the same cream without asking me and charging it again. It is unbelivable that this sort of people have access to the web. Please try to stop them.
