Unfair billing practices
PLEASE DO NOT ORDER THIS CREAM...unless you want a billing nightmare on your hands. I returned the trial product Thursday afternoon (3 days before the 14 day period ended - 3 days!). So what happens that Sunday? I get billed $60 bucks ! But the kicker is that I spent $20 to Fed Ex the jar back to them so that I wouldn't be charged the $60. Now I find out the company policy is to "process" the refund in 3-10 business days! Now isn't that incredible? So Caracol gets access to my money for that length of time, but I don't?!
Of course I am looking for any attorney that is taking the lawsuit against Caracol for stuff like this. Does anyone know who that attorney is? Let me know. Thanks from Virginia.

free trial period
this is really a rip off. there is no free trial period. you get hit with the charge of $59.95 even if you cancel within the 14 day trial period. i would like to be included in the class action against this company. i am also disputing this charge with my credit card company. its not right what they do.

Customer Service
I would like to point out that this company is not the scam others seem to make it out to be. I have been purchasing Caracol Cream for a couple months now and have noticed some very nice effects. I admit I was a little skeptical at first and had lots of questions. Fortunately they answered all my questions and made things very easy for me. I will continue to use this product and I suggest that everyone else give it a try too.

skin care cream
I ordered the cream before I googled "review" on it. How stupid!!! I tried it, break out on T-zone, called them on the 14th day of the trial, got their cancellation email, STILL got charged! 1 day before! This is a smart way to collect money!
I only wish that I don't care about my skin any more. Why do I always try to find the best product and try new products? that is why the scams can work, isn't it?

returns
I tried the product and therefore, without being told, was put on the automatic recieving list. I returned the product but was not given a refund, nor did they acknowledge they had received the cream. How can you sell this product without telling the customer the cost? I was very disappointed.

Fraud
I FELL FOR IT - "TRY OUR PRODUCT FOR 30 DAYS AND ONLY PAY SHIPPING AND HANDLING". HA! WHEN I RECEIVED IT I HAD ONLY 14 DAYS TO TRY IT (THOSE DAYS INCLUDED THE TIME IT TOOK TO BE DELIVERED). I RETURNED THE PRODUCT BY UPS SO IT WOULD GET THERE ON THE DATE SPECIFIED FOR THE TRIAL RETURN. IT GOT THERE ALRIGHT BUT THEY STILL CHARGED MY CHECKING ACCOUNT AND PUT ME IN OVERDRAW STATUS. I CONTACTED MY BANK TO INFORM THEM OF A FRAUDULANT CHARGE SO THEY WOULD BE AWARE THAT THIS WAS NOT MY FAULT. BUYER BEWARE. THESE PEOPLE DON'T CARE IF THEY OVERDRAW YOUR ACCOUNT. I WROTE TO THEM SEVERAL TIMES AND EVEN GAVE THEM THE TRACKING NUMBER SO THEY WOULDN'T CHARGE ME AND THEY DID ANYWAY. THIS CREAM CAN'T BE ANY BETTER THAN OTHERS ON THE MARKET. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T FALL FOR ANY INTERNET SCAMS. e9558

unauthorised charges
Per there terms of 14 day trial for use of there product Caracol Cream just $4.95 sh/h and receive product. To cancel further deliveries of cream, must return product within the 14 day trial is up, so not to be charged. I returned product by US Express Mail with guarantee of delivery by noon the next day which was the end of trial period. I called to let them know of delivery and told them there should not be any charges to my debit card, they said it took 2 weeks to process the return, I believe the meaning of that, I still would get charged.
So no matter what you do they are going to charge you the $59.95 one way or another, which is totally against their own terms, because as soon as you receive the product you would have to send it right back for cancellation processing. BIG SCAM besides the products doesn't work.

False Promises
This firm offers a "free" trial but when the site asks you to confirm the order there is a bleep indicating that you will be billed for a jar of cream every month. As soon as I saw this, I attempted to cancel my order. I tried to cancel the order to no avail. I did manage to get hold of a live person and was informed all I had to do was mark the package denied-return to sender. UPS would not take it back like that. My bank account was charge for almost $80 within days. This is a real scam and I will never order any type of free offer on the internet ever again!

Fraudulent free sample, unclear business practices
Do not deal with this company! I too was led to believe that I would only pay a nominal shipping fee for a "free" sample. I was at work and my husband was home when the package came. Unfortunately he paid the C.O.D. import fee (I live in Canada) of $40.00!!
If I had ANY idea they were charging obscene amounts for fraudulent free samples I would have sent it back, as I am doing now. I was told nicely that the company wasn't aware of this import fee, but having read these previous posts this is apparently a lie. I also read Caracol Cream's response about how they are working on fixing those glitches. That was dated in 2008 and it seems like they are pulling the same scam.
The jar that they shipped me was also not properly
sealed - it had a wafer plastic cover beneath the lid, one that was easily flipped off. So hygiene is also an issue (don't know how many times this cream has been returned?).
