Cardinal Assurance Corp Reviews

Dishonest and devious sales tactics
Cardinal Assurance Corp is truly where the bottom feeding scum of society go to find employment. DO NOT ENTERTAIN ANY SALES CALLS OR PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! They will take your money and promise you the world and what they deliver certainly falls short.
My story is as follows: I purchased a extended auto warranty from this company and was told about the wonderful coverage and peace of mind it would bring me. I made a snap decision to buy and that is what these people are banking on. I read over the documents I receieved from them and found out that many of the items I was told would be covered on my car, were not. I then searched the internet and found many reports of Cardinal Assurance and their program administrators being a scam. I am now in the process attempting to cancel the contract, but they are very unclear on how to do so. You must email "[email protected]", but nowhere in the contract does it say this. They took my intial down payment which was supposed to be a one time payment and then charged me again. I have since been in contact with the FBI's wire fraud division and they are looking into the criminalistics of this situation. The agent I spoke with gave me the feeling that he had heard of Cardinal Assurance Corp before.

VERY IMPORTANT: DO NOT DEAL WITH ANY OF THE FOLLOWING COMPANIES
Cardinal Assurance Corp, Vemeco, Warrantech automotive of Florida, Wesco Insurance Company, or Amtrust Financial. They are all thieves and will take your money and run.

Lies Lies, Scam Scam, Sham Sham
Website and their reps were full of lies. STAY AWAY from Cardinal Assurance Corp. Only been in business for less than a year yet tries to say they have been in business for over 45 years with billions in sales. Reps talking over themselves. What a complete SHAM.

After I just got a call from Cardinal Assurance Corp, I reviewed the website. You try to manipulate to show you have been in business for more than 25 years and have billions in sales. I can guarnatee that is not true. Even if Cardinal Assurance were open for 1 year, you do not have billions worth of sales. You cannot include sales from other companies when you worked there and make it look like it was Cardinal Assurance Corp sales. When I was speaking with Cardinal Assurance, I caught them in about 4 lies that were not very small ones. This place is a sham. STAY AWAY FROM CARDINAL ASSURANCE CORP.

SCAM SCAM SCAM
1. Avoid companies that have little history in the auto business. If the company goes out of business, you will have to pay for your own car repairs.

"Cardinal Assurance" has been operating for less than 6 months although the site claims management has over 45 years experience in the field, they must be referring to some 3rd-party they are trying to piggyback, b/c this particular business that you reach when you call the # just started up and is a tiny start-up company. Dont be fooled.

2. Don't make a down payment before you see the full written warranty and its terms. Don't give out your personal or banking information over the phone.

I took a job at Cardinal Assurance for telesales and was told it was credible. However soon after starting training, I realized this is just another typical sales job where they expect you to over-sell the product, make statements that sway the auto-owner to believe the waranty covers entire systems, when in reality it is only SOME parts, not the whole "electrical" system for instance.

They use high-pressure sales tactics to convince the auto-owner that he/she must purchase the waranty SAME DAY, "because if they were to re-submit for approval later, it would look like the driver had gotten into an accident etc and wouldnt be offered the same low price" . That's just a smokescreen, not true at all, and a lie to create false urgency to close a deal. They pretend they are running a verification, may even ask for your VIN but they will sell any and everyone, there is no verification. I am tired of these fly-by-night companies and quit soon after realizing they have no morals.
