Exchange card never received
I previously sent 2 e-mails to Cardpool.com inquiring where my Amazon gift card is at, with no response. I exchanged a $25 movie gift card more than 6 months ago and never received the $18.00 in exchange for a card from Amazon.com. I also attempted to call them and the voice message refers me to e-mail them at [email protected].

I would never shop on this site again
I placed an order of $68 (2 gift cards) on March 21st. I live in New York, so waited a little over a week til March 30th. Nothing in my mailbox...I emailed (because they dont have customer support phone number) them with my order confirmation email with order #. They emailed me back on March 31st saying it sometimes takes up to 3 weeks. So I waited 3 weeks as I was told to. My gift card did not come. I emailed again on April 11th informing them I did not receive my order. They emailed me back on April 12th saying that they would make a full refund and told me to check my credit card statement in a few days. So I waited again til April 16th, and I did not get any refund. I emailed them again telling them I did not see $68 back to my credit card. On April 18th, they suddenly start saying they had refunded on March 22nd. Why? I placed an order March 21st. I even contatced them on March 30th because I was so anxious to receive my order.

As of today April 18th, they insist they had refunded $68 on March 23rd, and they suggested me to contact my credit card compnay and bank becaue they can't do anything further. The phone number they have on the site is for Sales Dept. and the guy said to me "if you are not placing an order, I can't help you are you placing an order???. Horrible (NO) customer service. it's just $68, but imagine if they do this for 20 customers a day... I do online shopping everyday and have never had a bad experience before at all. BUT I would never shop on this site again.

Please stay away from this company and just use your gift card
Had two Bloomingdale cards valued each for fifty dollars, I entered my gift card numbers and requested a check for payment. Cardpool requested that I send in the cards by mail and promised upon receipt to issue payment of $82. Fast forward a week later, I receive the below email from cardpool: We recently received your mail, but noticed that the gift cards foryour transaction was missing from the package. It looks like theenvelope was damaged in transit and we only received the shippinglabel at our processing center, which must have detached from theenvelope with your gift cards. Regrettably, we cannot offer paymentfor gift cards that we don't receive. However, if you still have the rceipt for the gift cards, you may be able to contact the merchant torequest that they cancel the previous cards and issue you a new one.If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel welcome tocontact us at [email protected] anytime.

I couldn't fine a phone number to call them directly, so I sent an email to support - its been a week, no response. I can't believe I was duped I should have known better. I hope this helps someone, please stay away from this company and just use your gift card.

Avoid the hassle and try one of the other gift card sites
I purchased an electronic gift certificate for Lowe's Home Improvement. The site promises that electronic gift cards are emailed within 24 hours. It's been 48 hours, I've emailed support, and I haven't heard a thing. So much for that whopping 6% discount! Avoid the hassle and try one of the other gift card sites!

Order electronic gift card and never received
I order a $25 ebgames electronic gift card on 1/21/2011 for my son's friend's birthday on 1/23/2011. I was told I'd received the card via email within 24 hours, plenty of time before the party. It's now 1/24/2011 and I still have not received the card. I emailed them twice and still no response. This forced me to go out yesterday morning and buy another card to give. Huge inconvenience and although I'm only out $22.50 that $22.50 makes a big difference to a single mother of 3. I'll never do business with that company again. BUYER BEWARE.
