OVER-CHARGES
I HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR LATE FEES WHEN THERE WAS NO LATE PAYMENTS ON MY ACCOUNT ! MY BILL WAS PAID ON TIME EVERY MONTH.
I CALLED TO DISCUSS THIS WITH THE COMPANY . A RUDE, ARROGANT MAN REFUSED TO DISCUSS THE MATTER WITH ME .

Billing / payoff procedure
Warning to all.
I am in the process of paying off my Care Credit card. As anyone would do I called Care Credit to get a payoff Ballance. My intention is to pay off this card tonight however when I called they told me that even if I pay off my ballance tonight I will still be responsible for the interest that would have accrued over the next week. I dont know about any of you but I feel if I pay off a bill that should be the end of it. No further charges should be incured. In addition to this the several emplyee's at Care Credit I spoke with were quite rude and when I asked to talk with a supervisor I was told I was the one being rude and if I did not change my tone the call would be disconnected.
Do yourself a favor and do not open a care credit card. You will regret doint it as I do...

Can't find the place to make payment
I am trying to make a payment on Care Credit card. All I get is "Complaints Board". I have tried several times. I also have followed links that referred to "Care Credit" but it wasn't GE on LIne. My payment is due the 7th and it is the 5th @ 6:40pm est. Last month we had a lightning strike that took out our computer, phone, etc. for over 24 hr. They charged me a $39.99 late fee because I had used up my "freebie"?? and was a couple hours late in making my payment on a care credit account. I also will be charged previously deferred interest on that other card now. I sure don't want the same problem with this one! Not to mention a rude "supervisor" too.

Raising payment
I made the minimum payment on the date it was due and got a confirmation number and the date it was paid. The next month I was charged a late fee and they raised my payment amount. I wrote them and they reversed the late fee but still tried to charge me an increased minimum payment. I explained to 3 different people that called that it wasn't late and I shouldn't have an increased payment because it was not late but they don't listen to you and just keep rambling on about the new payment and when can I pay it? I told them I'm not making the new payment because it wasn't late and but their foreigner customer service people don't listen to you. They only care about getting their spiel out. I finally turned them into the Better Business Bureau. I haven't gotten it resolved yet but I'm not paying an increased amount or a late fee on a payment made on time. What a ripoff company! Never get this credit card, they are true scammers.

Overcharged
I accidentally incorrectly entered one of the numbers on my checking account for the auto pay feature. They never contacted me to tell me my payment did not go through. The first contact I had was with a collections agency telling me I was past due and my interest rates had been raised from the 2-year interest free plan to 30%!

Customer Service
Here is some info that might be of help to everyone. Most contacts with this outfit are actually to Client Development Services, a call center in Henderson, Nevada. These people have crappy customer service and won't answer email or complaints. If you send them a complaint, they block your email address so you can't do any follow-up. Here are some email addresses that you can try but don't expect any responses. The first 3 are the owners of this company and the last one is just one of their flunkies. deceptive and confrontational
In April I was told that Care Credit could be used for vet bills and chemotherapy, with 18 months deferred interest. I applied online, was accepted & started using the card for vet bills.
I paid more the minimum on time each month.
Today I opened the bill and there was a $19.81 charge at 22.98%!!
I called to complain and the rep was not sympathetic. She said I had a 3 month agreement not an 18 month agreement.
She said unless I could prove it in writing, tough luck.
I have my email receipt but it is not written on there. I called the vet and they said they will try to fix it, if they can.
I HAVE NEVER, EVER HAD GOOD DEALINGS WITH GE MONEY BANK, EVER.
I HAVE an EXCELLENT FICO SCORE AND DO NOT NEED A 23% CREDIT CARD.
BEWARE OF CARE CREDIT AND BEWARE OF GE MONEY BANK - THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.

unable to access on line payments at www.geonlineservice.com
Each month I have tried to use the on-line system to make my monthly payment and each month I cannot access. It comes up with "an error page" when everything has been inputted correctly. I also contact the customer service area while on the computer and no one understands why I cannot get on and no one has been able to assist me. This creates a big problem because now I have to have a telephone payment which costs me an additional $10 for the transaction. I almost feel as though this is a scam to get an additional fee from me. I do everything on line and this is the only account that will not work on line even though everything is completed correctly.

Payment Processing
Watch your back if you have GE Money Bank's CARE CREDIT card. They give you three months without interest and if you don't pay off the "promotional amount, " they will charge interest on each individual promotion, not the total amount due. Say you ran to the vet three times in two months and couldn't pay off any of the "promotional" amounts. As each promotion ended, you'd pay interest on it. So, instead of a 19% interest rate, you'd be paying 19% three times. Talk about crooked.
They also stiff you when you make an internet payment. My payment was due on the 28th, which was a Sunday. I made my payment on Saturday the 27th but it was not presented to my bank until the 30th! This is supposed to be an electronic debit, which means it's paid when submitted. GEMB wants to make you pay late fees, so they submit it four days after the payment has actually been made. You either get on the phone and hope you can hammer some sense into them, or pay a $39 late charge.
One last thing. If you use a credit consolidation service, GEMB will not change their due date for anyone, including the service.
