Poor service
Every other credit card I have sends me an email receipt after I pay online, some even do so when I pay by phone. Not Care Credit. If you don't write down that long confirmation number, who knows if you will be able to verify payment on time to them. Also, you cannot email them about anything, you have to call. Why is this? Do they not want you to have written documentation of everything you do by them, other than your statement? The service is terrible by phone, too. This company is completely unresponsive to complaints and suggestions. I think they are a very iffy outfit. Places I go that used to take Care Credit no longer do, there must be a reason.

STILL HAVE NOT RECEVE STATEMENT
I HAVE STILL NOT RECEVED A STATEMENT FOR MAY. I DID NOT RECEVE A STATEMENT FOR APRIL, BUT I DID RECEVE A PAST DUE NOTICE. HOW CAN I GET MY STATEMENTS SENT TO ME ON TIME. I HAVE WRITEN LETTERS TO EVERYONE AND NO STATEMENTS. PLEASE HELP ME.

Getting a Card
I am 21 years old and need alot of work dome to my teeth or they are going to fall out and rot. Well it seems like now one cares because I have been trying to get a carecredit card so I can get my $2000 worth of work done to my teeth. I have tryed filling myself and then when they denied me I tryed with 2 of my family members as co-signers and we were denied still. I do not get it because my father has a GE money bank gas card and he just got his limit raised to $700 without even asking so obviosly he has credit but he was still denied now that makes sense doesnt it?... NO. Also I know for a fact that that the other family memeber had very good credit and alot of money sitting in a bank account because she sold her house for a half of a millon dollars. I was reading on the website for carecredit and it says "there is nothing holding you back" well this is holding me back. The only thing I can think that someone would be able to recive a card from them is to have a perfect credit score and who has that anymore. There is no one in the world that has a perfect credit score anymore. So I want to know how this company is making any money because if no one can get a card to get HELP! then they are not bringing in any money. I have no other choices now to get credit to get my teeth worked on now. I am 21 and because of them turning me down for god only know what reason I either have to let my teeth rot and fall out or find a dentist that will pull my 5 teeth out (which by the way can be saved by root canals and fillings and to pull my teeth will probley cost me ALOT of money which I dont have all at once) and live with huge holes in my mouth for the rest of my life, but why I am telling you this I dont know because I know now one cares you all have dental insurance and can go whenever you want to and get anything done whenever you need to. This is supposed to be here to help people, well how can people get help if no one is willing to help them get help. This is a backwords ass company and I really hope you relize that it is and how upset my whole family is about this and belive me the GE company will never be our first choice for anything as long as we live.

lower monthly payment denied
Please stop!!! Harrassing phone calls to these numbers or legal action will occur! Vivian Rego 419-259-1195 and 419-255-7125 these are school work numbers of my sister not the card holder and you are in violation calling them and at risk now of harrassment. Also stop phone calls and leaving messages on voice mail to the card holder : Barbra R. Bednar and her number is:440-319-6838 please stop all harassing phone calls for collection purposes immediately. This has been going back and forth fro the past three months and with vigorous investigating i have found out I'm not the only one with difficulties in dealings with your phone operaters and supervisors! I am currently involved in communicating with all these other customers having the same problems with harassment and lies and improper rude treatments from your operaters and supervisors. STOP ALL HARASSING PHONE CALLS AND MESSAGES ON BOTH MY NUMBER AND MY SISTERS NUMBER AND VOICE MAILS. YOU HAVE BEEN DULY NOTIFIED BY PHONE, E-MAIL AND LETTERS TO CEASE THIS HARASSMENT IMMEDIATELY. A CLASS ACTION SUIT IS BEING INITIATED FROM 1000'S OF PEOPLE ACROSS THE CONTINENT AGAINST YOU AS WE SPEAK AND BECAUSE YOUR COMPANY REFUSES TO CO-OPERATE WITH ME IN MY PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT YOU LEAVE ME NO CHOICE BUT TO JOIN THEM. I, ADVISE YOUR COMPANY TO REFINE THEIR POLICIES AND TREATMENTS OF THE AVERAGE JOE. Billing scam!
I had dental implants done, with treatment starting in September 2007. The dentist office offered 0% financing through GE Money (Care Credit). I set up a recurring payment through my Online Banking service to pay the balance in 12 equal installments on the 5th day of each month (3 days prior to the due date of the original invoice). Within 3 months, I was being charged a "late fee" of $39 per month, even though my payment was sent on the 5th day of each month, for well above the minimum payment requested. When I finally noticed the late fee charges, I contacted customer services and was told that the fees could not be waived since I had 3 consecutive late payments. When I asked how the payments could be late, when the 0% financing only required me to pay in full by Sept of 2008, the response was that I had to make a minimum payment within the billing cycle, which was actually 24-days, not a full month, which resulted in my "late" payments.

This is a deliberate tactic to scam consumers hoping they will be late so they can charge extra fees. Obviously, I should have read their boilerplate on the back of the invoice, rather than listen to my dental office personnel.

FYI: My dental office has confirmed their understanding that the credit plan does not require set payments, only that payment is made in full by the end of the term. So, there is a breakdown somewhere. I will never recommend use of this credit plan to anyone, or utilize it for myself again. I would prefer to pay in full or pay interest rather than deal with bad-faith financial institutions like this one!

Terrible experience!
I had Lasik done in December and revived 0% financing through GE Money (Care Credit) Tried to set up a recurring payment with them on their web site to pay the balance in 18 equal installments but they said they can't do it. They can only charge the min each month, which decreases over time, or pay the balance which defeats the purpose. Every credit card provider I have gives me the option except them. This is a deliberate way to scam consumers hoping they will be late so they can charge deferred interest. THEY ARE SCAM!

Scam and cheating!
On November 20 I sent a check to Care Credit in the Amount of $ 1100.00 and they cashed it as $ 11000.00 which was my banks fault as well as Care Credit for not paying attention. As of today which is Jan 10 I am owed $ 9900.00 do you think I can get that back NO they say it has to be searched first it cleary states on my statement that I over payed them which now can take up to 45 days to get back and has already been two months I will never deal with them again and I suggest no one does either. Now I had get an Attorney which I will send them the bill for that. They are a pretty sad company I will be telling all of the Medical offices where I live not to deal with them and hopefully people will listen, Hope this makes sense!

unfair practices
This complaint comes at a time that I have already turned them over to Better Business Bureau. I was one day late and seen there was no grace period of any kind, they changed my interest rate from 9% to 28&. I called them and a customer service rep by the name of Tracy told me to deposit 500. in the next day to my loan and it would go back to 9% interest. I borrowed the money and applied to the loan I had and it did not change back. Then I called them back and a different customer rep answered and she told me that they could not change it back and it was not going to happen. So therefore my payment went from 170. a month to 310. a month. The customer service there are very rude and lie. These people should not be in business and should be shut down immediately. If anyone knows of a way that this could be put on dateline or 60 minutes on national television it would alert more people and be very helpful.

Fraud and cheating!
I still have an acct. open with you guys and i had field for Chpt. 7 bankruptcy in Feb. of 07 and its still showing on my credit report that i am late with my payments when the acct. Should be closed and showing included in Bankruptcy!!!

Sneaky little rules!
I paid care credit on time every month, so I was pretty surprised when I found out that late payment charges of 29 dollars was being applied to my bill each month. I called Care Credit and they explained to me that any payments made the during the first 5 days of a month are counted as payment for the last month. Because I made each payment at the first of the month, I was penalized! I do not feel I was adequately informed of this rule. By implementing this policy, Care Credit managed to gain 87 extra dollars from me. I can only imagine how much money they are making off the rest of their customers with this sneaky little rule.
