Fraud Job Site
As with many other people I've been contacted by this company for a position relevant to my exp (for me Acct). I really appreciate everyone's feedback and details on this site, it was bc of your entries I was able to search here first before filling out their forms and confirming they're a scam.
Other than filing a complaint I wonder if it would be effective to bombard these guys "supposed" tech support email they have provided 2helpdesk@career-network.com. We can all email them maybe twice a day anything we want ex: they're a scam / stop wasting time w your fake site etc until they have thousands of emails in their inbox to where they cannot harass anymore people or differentiate new victims from our emails in their inbox :)
Just a thought.

Small town job Networks
Hi my complaint is about a very small local town Job network inc... that have very small mined view on how there office staff discriminated a person on the way they dress causal ...
the staff are too busy shorting their month off and now because of this me, my Boyfriend, and my mother are never aloud to get a job in our local area just because i am a Goth you could say i have been "black listed" from ever getting a job in my town?
The thing is when it comes to working it shouldn't matter how you look or dress out side of work as long as your a good work, dress right,

Fraud - Rip Off
Do not react to anything that comes from Career Network, Inc. They get information from you so they can use it for other purposes. We, like so many others, were scammed into believing that they actually provided a needed service for those looking for work. BOY WERE WE SURPRISED!!!. They should be taken off the net and hung out to dry. JUST STAY AWAY FROM ANYTHING THAT CAREER NETWORKS PUTS OUT!!!

false job posting
I have posted jobs since August 2008 that reference me back to a website called career-networks. I always received an immediate response to whatever job i respond to asking me to submit with a login and username. Then, I hear nothing. However, the people I have listed as references have told me that they are receiving large amounts of spam from the referenced site.
the website has no physical address and no phone number. I keep receiving emails asking me to do the same thing over and over again.
The jobs listed say "immediate hire" or "seeking to fill asap, " but you never hear from a direct employer. Yet, the website claims to not have any intermediary action between job seekers and employers access to posted resumes.
These jobs are not real and they are posted all over craigslist.com

possible fraud
Career-network.com advertises employment opportunities on Craigslist. The company name is never mentioned. If anyone ever got a job through this company, I would like to hear about it. After responding to the ad, you are directed to one of several shell websites under the banner of career-network.com to fill out your personal information including your address and what cell phone carrier you use as well as whether you own your own business, whether you indent to pursue more education, what your credit score is etc.
After replying to this, a second e-mail directs you confirm the previous information and provide personal information about your references. No additional information about the position, such as location, company, etc. is provided. It has a very bad smell about it; it is probably just an elaborate phishing scam.
The company operates under several aliases and uses an Orlando FL snail-mailbox for correspondence. According to one investigator, the company is registered in Delaware.
"A company spokesman alleged on aboutus.com they are incorporated in Delaware. I found a recent incorporation of a Career Network Inc., File Number: 4545479, Incorporation Date / Formation Date: 05/09/2008."
The aliases include:
www.blastcareers.com
www.imageemployment.com
www.greatestcustomcareers.com
www.youlookforcareers.com
www.theconcordcareers.com
www.directcareerjobs.com
www.employmentflash.com
www.twinklecareers.com
www.yourcareerdrive.com
Another investigator reported:
"On the "corporate" site http://www.careernetworksite.net/ they give the address 1001 Craig Rd, Suite 240; St. Louis, MO 63146. Telephone: 314-244-3547. No TOS and not incorporated in Missourri.
On their main working site http://www.careernetworkjobs.com TOS it says they are in Orange County, Florida jurisdiction. Both sites domain registration is anonymous via Network Solutions."
These are believed to be subsidiaries of another notorious scamming company, Internet Solutions Corp.
