Beware

I have used Jaret's product to try and enhance our current product offerings. When we signed up, he made several concessions to help us with some of our requests. We signed up based on these agreeements and month after month went by without a word. Literally. He's the hardest person to get on the phone at CareerAdvantage. In fact, the only other person I spoke to there was the web designer and he didn't seem to be able to offer help. Aside from the skeptical nature in which he operates the company, it's obvious he promises the world and delivers a pebble.

It wasn't just that he didn't provide what we requested (and he affirmed), but rather the lack of communication and trust. All said, the product he offers has many bugs which I won't go into and hardly any of our candidates benefit from Careeradvantage outplacement software.

Lackluster service and product

Careeradvantage is a total joke. They promised all sorts of wonderful-sounding features in their product that never came. While the actual product that careeradvantage offers does work, it is a total ripoff. We signed up on the condition that we would receive the added features we requested (and were told was not a problem to implement).

After two months of never hearing back from anyone, I finally reached the web designer on the phone. I casually asked how many people work there and got a delayed response of ..."three". That's including the CEO, who we spoke to and promised us everything we requested.

In all honesty, you're better off using the typical job boards like Monster, Craigslist, etc, and getting involved in some social networking. Set up a Google Alert to notify you of the exact same "triggers" that Careeradvantage purports to offer.

You'll be throwing your money away with this company.
