Carl Lemke is supposed to be an expert in heraldic engraving and jewelry. On December 31, 2007 I sent him my coat of arms to be engraved on a 14K gold ring and full payment for the same. The time to produce the ring was advertised to be about 4 weeks.

I have followed up many times and only once has he answered. On March 28 Lemke emailed back to say he had been out on "active military deployment" and had, therefore, been out of touch. He said the ring would be mailed out at the end of that week.

Naturally, the ring never came. Since then he hasn't responded to my request for the ring or, finally, for a refund.

Beware of his very professional looking website. All I've received from Lemke for my $531 is one two sentence email. Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be appreciated.
