Ordered dining set in March of 2010, I came back in July of 2010 to add 2 more chairs to the existing set with hopes of picking the chairs up before Thanksgiving. My sales man Claudio Leiderman said the furniture will definetley be in before Thanksgiving, giving me an approximate date of 12 weeks, I explained to him I only had means of picking up the furniture during the month of October, after this date I will no longer have a truck, I was told that this was not a problem & that he would be calling me around October 16th to let me know the chairs were in . I paid half of the the 2 chairs a total of $615.86, leaving me a balance of $615.86. I never received a phone call from Carls furniture in October, when I called myself I was told Carlos my sales man had been fired & they appologized for the inconvenience, I asked to speak with a store manager & was told no one was in at this time, so they took my info & said I would receive a call back, I never got a call back. I finally called again & spoke with a Jennifer who appologized & I asked if they could now deliver the chairs without charge, she said she could not do this because the chairs were in before Thanksgiving as promissed, she also explained to me that I needed to pay off my balance at any Carls location before picking up the furniture. I went to the closest Carls to my home & paid the balance off, as I was walking out the door, I was stopped & told that they have to refund my charge because I have to pay my balance at the same location the furniture was purchased from because this would off set here records, I explained to this woman that I was told I can go to any location & again I was appologized to for the inconvenience & she refunded my money and said to go back to the store I purchased the furniture from, I then called Jennifer & explained to her what the situation was at this point & how aggrivated I now am for waisting my time & gas & for all the confusion that has taken place with Carls, I asked to speak with the store manager whos name is Dana, of course Dana was not in the office this day & I would have to call back tomorrow (December 10th).
I will never do business with Carls furniture in the future & do not recommendthe company to anyone.
