Watch out for this one ! This person breeds bloodhounds, Australian Shepherds, Basset Hounds, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and Newfoundlands. This person claims that they have 25 years experience in breeding, showing and training...When in fact her first bloodhound litter was in 2004 and all of the other breeds that she produces have come after the year of 2004. They do NO health clearances on any of the dogs that they breed. They breed their females upto 3 times in a row without skipping heat cycles and starts breeding them as young as 15 months of age. I know and have documentation from several people that have bought bloodhound puppies that these puppies when purchased were either shipped to them via airline or she met them on the road...When the puppies were received they had either coccidia, roundworms, hookworms, or other parasites, they were skinny and underfed to the point that their hip bones and ribs were showing, they were dirty and smelled, coats were poor and overall in poor condition-sick. She refused to give proper vet documentation. Also I know that later in life that some of these puppies when xrayed for hip dysplasia had mild hip dysplasia and also had temperament issues that varied from extremely spooky and aggresive tendencies. Bet yet she claims that she has never had a problem with these types of things. She usually has 2 to 4 litters of bloodhounds (not including all of the other breeds that she has) at all times and she claims that she raises them all in her home. In November of 2008 she had 4 litters that she was selling for Christmas. You tell me how impossible it is to raise 4 litters of bloodhounds in your home at one time. All in all she breeds upto 8 litters of bloodhounds a year (not including all of the other breeds that she has). Temperament issues arise from improper handling when young such as improper socialization. Anytime that someone has tried to complain to her or try to get proper vet documentation she becomes rude, threatens with a lawyer or simply refuses to answer them. Just because she is a member of the American Bloodhound Club does not mean that she is a reputable breeder. She is far from being reputable and nothing more than a Puppy Mill=High Volume Breeder...Just My 2 Cents.
