factory defect

This boom cracked due to a casting flaw (bubble in the cast), which caused the boom to crack. "Past warranty " they said, which is true, BUT, these kind of things don`t always appear within a warranty period, and it is CLEARLY their mistake.Pic#1&2, the casting is supposed to be 5/8 "thick. You can see is is paper thin.

fraud

"This Hoe (1500 hours) was owned by the city of Seattle" is what I was told: the main reason I bought it
It arrived with a cracked boom caused by a casting flaw (bubble), AND the city of Seattle "never nor would own it, being open cab. The crack was obvious (pic#1) but not at distance (pic#2, their pic) "We didn`t know it was there" they said, yet, they were "renting it out regularly".
