Rip off
I sent cash4gold 2 wedding rings/1 wedding ring with diamonds/1 neckless/1 money clip/2 tie chains. The rings weighed 8 grams and the diamonds had .o4 cts. they sent me a check for $15.59. What an insult. This company is a rip off!!!

Tltal ripoff and theives!!!!!
Total Rip Off!!!
I sent old gold and silver jewelry to Cash 4 Gold in October of 2008. After two weeks, I had heard nothing from them, and called, and was told my jewelry had no precious medal. If I wanted it back, I would have to pay $15.00. I called again today hoping to get another customer rep, but the same person answered the phone, and told me the same thing only now I can't get my jewelry back, because it's past the 10 days I had to request it back. I don't know how this place can do this!! Please, do not send your jewelry to this company. It is a total SCAM. I also read on a website that even though they have the Better Business Bureau as a reference, they have the lowest rating anyone can have with the BBB. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!!! Don't send them your jewelry!!!

Cash 4 gold promises you they send you a great insured envelope to send your valuable products to them in and so you do but then if they supposedly don't make it 10+ days later you have to make a claim with the U.S. MAIL then call them back with the claim # then they will think about doing something about it.I would suggest everyone do there homework before mailing there jewelry to these guys or anyone else seems to me through light investigation they are out to scam people however possible. I mailed out 1 pound of broken and unwanted jewelry and now have nothing and to add i mailed it 13 days ago.this is quiet a great gift for them extremely disappointing to me but you live and learn.I hope I help someone.

Price of Gold
This company should be called Pennies 4 Gold !! They are paying about $70/oz. for 12k gold! They also charge a shipping & handling fee to have your merchandise returned. Other than the fact they Scam you on the Value of the Gold, the staff seems friendly & helpful with basic questions. You would probably get a better return if you took it to your local pawn shop or jeweler.

Rip-off!
I sent in over $1, 000 worth of jewelry and they told me they never received it and submitted it for an insurance claim for $40.02. They say their envelopes are insured. Who is to say that they didn't actually receive it and are paying their customers below the value of what it is really worth.

What a rip off! I sent them 2 rings and I already have a written appraisal from the jewelers where the items were purchased, which I might add...has been in business almost 35 years and is well respected. They wrote me back and said the rings were 12 K gold, not 14K, which is not true and that they were not sapphire and diamonds! Then you can talk to the idiots in customer service...who have no idea where they even work or what they do!
Good luck...what a bunch of nuts!
