I recieved a call from an indian man named Peter Jones saying that it was an urgent legal matter it was time sensitive and i needed to call back. he gave me a number to call back so i did i asked for a peter jones and of course it was another man steve that answered and i couldnt talk to peter he is his supervisor. Steve proceeded to tell me that i got a $1500 loan from cash advanced mutual which i never got told me my information which a couple things were off a little bit he told me that his lawyer has been pressuring him to get the affidavited against me to court which is odd because wouldnt they have called me sooner and if i owed this company money wouldnt i have gotten a bill and of course i asked him that and he wouldnt answer me. he just kept saying i had to pay this off or i woulod go to court and have to pay $4000 in stead of $1200. i never got a loan from this company i check the 2 pay as u go cards i have and their is no money on either one of them and no deposit has ever been made to them from Cash Advanced Mutual. it was difficult to talk to him because he was indian and i couldnt understand most of what he was saying. he told me if i didnt pay it off i could go to court and lose everything i had even my job how could i lose my job from it. it worries me because i dont wanna owe this company money if its true but i havent recieved money from this company so how do i owe for something i have never gotten. the guy just kept saying the same things to me over and over and wasnt answering any of my questions. He told me if i went to court i would lose. i got online and searched for the Cash Advanced Mutual and this website is what i find. I called the guy back to tell him what i found he wont listen to me and yelled at me of course i yelled back at him he said he would send me an email of the affidavited i have yet to get it. i called back to see if he sent it and he said he would check with thepaper department and call me back. still no call back. he did tell me if i wanted to just set up a payment plan i could but i had to pay it off in 3 payments and he could lower it to $845 that i owe why would the company drop it that much if i really did owe it. then he told me what i have to fax him to get them to stop the affidavited from going to court and he asked me for my debit card number and 3 digit security code. why would he need that, i gave him the number off of a card i have deactivated and no longer can use my son plays with it. i didnt think he would need that information. i have had things go into collection before and they have never wanted credit/debit card infromation like that before. I dont know what i should do if i should ignore it or what.
