For the Past Month and a half i have been receiving these people with a middle eastern accent, unprofessional calls about my ss# was in lawsuit for a cash connect payday loan. Well i knew i had a payday loan out but i knew i paid it off. So i asked him who was this and who did he work for and he said his name was Sean Black calling from ACS INC and that i had a payday loan i had taken out of 300 dollars and with all the fees i owed 645.00 dollars and if i didn't pay i would go to court and possible get arrested...i panicked and almost gave them my info to my account when i said i am at work call me tomorrow and we can talk...i lied...so i immediately got on the google and searched...and i found this page...not an hour later another phone call from supposedly the law offices of Joe Brown from california called with the same situation. I said hold up...i know for a fact i don't have a payday loan out with Cash connect usa. He became irate and started to curse out and i replied excuse me u are very unprofessional and i want to speak to your supervisor...he then said i am the supervisor...i then said well i need to see documentation of this so called loan/lawsuit...he then said i don't have to show you anything...i then said this conversation is over and i hung up on him...for the past month they kept calling my cell and place of employment. If you get any calls from this so called cash connect legal office...hang up and call the police. I filed a report on them and started to check my credit. Please don't fall for this...they are scamming us and want your money. I called them back and said i have made a police report and they have all your information name, contact number and your fax...if you continue to harass me and at my work i will proceed to the FBI. They claimed that they would turn in my file to the courts and i will be arrested the next day...i said you do that..in the mean time f**** off and leave me alone. I have yet to see any documents and the calls did stop but i made a report with the police and i check my credit everyday...keep an eye out for these so called collections.

Received a call this morning at 10-13-09. Caller left me a message said it was time sentive that i call him back, or i will be arrested. When i called back they stated i owed an outstanding loan. I thought maybe they were right i did do a payday loan awhile back, but couldn't remember when, i was sure i paid it. I get ssi for anxiety they said i had till 5pm today to pay or i would be arrested. I am a low income family so i was scared and agreed to pay the 814.44 with a debit card. They also told me to fax them a letter with a certain message create by them and have it notarized. They had my ss number all my personal information. i thought it was legit. However when i wet to verify there phone numbers i got no answer. Finally a lady called back to verify my card. I asked to talk to her boss and told the man that none of their phones were listed anywhere in the u.s and their business was not listed in the better business bureau. I then stated they best not use my card until they hear from my attorney. The man named Nathan Rice agreed and became very nice and said he understood. Then I had to talk to a Mr. Brown because they took the funds anyway, big freakin surprise. He said he would refund my money in twenty days and i would be arrested. I said i wanted it back in 2o minutes they took it out in that time frame i want it back. I was left in tears. Here I catch them at there game but a little to late. So others please beware. These people sound legit because they have all your personal items. Report them immediately. I may be able to get my money back with fraud alert from my debit card wish me luck.
