On Thursday July the 9th i received a phone call from a man with the last name of Jones saying he was with a law firm and that a law suit was pending against me from the company Cash Net Pay Day loans. He said that i could also go to jail and that if i did not settle this matter that charges would be brought against me. I advised him that i was calling my lawyer and that i was going to get copies of my bank statements in the past year and i would call him back. So i called my lawyers office and advised them of the situation and also went and got copies of my bank statements for the past year. I called Mr. Jones back and advised him i have looked at all my bank statements and never received any money from that company and also gave him the number to my attorneys office and told him to reference all his phone calls to his office. After I got off the phone with him i started doing research on this company and the phone number I called. The phone number i called was a cell number and came from a bogus address in Floral Park New York that was a parking lot. I then went ahead and called my local law enforcement agency and had a police report made since they had all my personal information. I also had one done for my work place also. I made a complaint through the FTC also. The next day i called Mr. Jones back and asked him for his address and company name and he refused to give me that information. He then advised me not to call him again. What a joke. I told him that my attorney has everything and that there was no case. I have not heard from them in the past few days. If anyone receives a phone call from these jokers ask them their address and business name and also ask them for paper work to be faxed to you. They will act nervous and stutter.
