terrible service
Hello, more than 6 weeks ago I sent away my envelope to cash4gold.com. They say that your envelope is tracked and secure the entire journey. 3 weeks after submitting my envelope, I still could not track my package, I finally got them to answer an email, and it had been recieved the week before but no one entered the tracking envelope. I recieved my check for a diamond ring and solid gold coin, 86 dollars. I of course refused the paynent and they said they would follow thier standard practice and ship my gold back to me. The following day I was issued a UPS tracking number, but it has never been shipped, just a label prepared by c4g. I have been trying unsuccessfully since to find out where this package is, and keep getting emails saying that a supervisor needs to contact me can I give my phone number, but no one ever calls me. BEWARE

denying they received 90.6 grams of gold from me.
Sent in numerous items along with sterling silver and they claimed to have not received the 90.6 grams of gold when it was in the same package as the silver! This is apparently another company that can not be trusted and we as citizens of this great contry need to put them out of business ASAP before they take more peoples hard earned monies. I wonder if this company is owned by MADOFF!

Cash4gold
Jan 7, 2009 My sister and I sent a pack of gold consisting, of 17 rings, 7 chains, 5 bracelets, 2 sets of loop earrings, 4 pendants, and 34 miscellaneous pieces of gold. We were so stupid and didn't check this site until after we lost our gold. I was worried about how to track it to them, so I sent it Certified Mail but the package didn't get scanned into the USPS system, so when cash4gold said they didn't receive it and the US mail couldn't find it, we had no way to tell where it went. SO, I'm just warning people DON'T ever send your GOLD in the mail. There are too many places you can walk the gold into and see if you are getting a price you are satisfied with. Don't trust Cash4gold and don't trust the USPS. Don't let your gold out of your site. I have found all of the gold buying places one TV that buy gold in this manner, have a bad reputation on how they do business. Don't Trust Them It is a Scam. Sincerely Anita

False Advertising
I sent Cash4Gold an $800 engagement ring (I can verify this with a sales receipt and a jeweler’s appraisal) with the expectation that I would be paid something reasonable for it, I would have even been happy with $200. They sent me a check for $27.94 dated February 20th, 2009 which I received on March 3rd, 2009.
I was not happy with this amount and called them on March 5th to ask for the ring back. I was told that I was requesting a return past the date when they would refund my item. Apparently, their policy for returns is 10 days after the check is dated. When I informed Cash 4 Gold's customer service operator that I had received the check 2 days prior they told me that was none of their concern and that they would not refund the ring, nor increase the amount of compensation to me.
I feel that I have been robbed by this company and I have contacted the Florida State Attorney General's office for help in shutting down these deceptive business practices. Don’t do business with this company!

Mail Fraud
Do yourself a favor, go to the website for the Better Business Bureau (which Cash4Gold advertises their logo on their TV commercials) and lookup this Mail Fraud Scam Artist company!!! And please if you've been scammed by them, submit a complaint with the BBB and the Florida Attorney General's Office - they are already investigating this company! Lodge every complaint you can against them if you've been a victim of their so-called "business practices" which are just ripping people off after making false promises to themt to trust them with your jewelry/gold/valuables.
Can you say MAIL FRAUD?
I trusted there promises, foolishly ... there is no "guaranteed satisfaction" or "insured" with using their mailers. They end up telling you they NEVER have received your shipment and then try to pawn you off on the USPS, which is useless. Supposedly, they provide the customer with some Limitations & Terms/Conditions to their offer, but I have YET to see this documentation from them - they surely didn't send it with their mailer BEFORE I sent out my gold jewelry items to them. If they had, after reading them, I would have NEVER EVER sent anything to them!!
Don't trust this company with ANY of your gold or jewelry ... do your research, I only wish I had. ~ Disappointed & Foolish Debbie

Do NOT use FAST CASH Option
DO NOT GO FOR "FAST CASH" OPTION. My wife and I recently sent 2 wedding rings with 3 diamonds each. We had purchased the rings in Mayors, 18K gold, good quality diamonds. We went to 3 local PAWN SHOPS to sell the rings. One told us they'd give us $350. The second one $310, the third one $330.
We wanted a little more than that so we decided to try Cash4Gold. With all their advertisements of "Eliminate the middle man" and the supposed "customer testimonials" we figured we'll AT LEAST get the $350. We sent the items, waited 2 weeks for our check (Thank God we didn't take their Fast CAsh option which waives your right to dispute the amount you receive!). The check was for a WHOOPING $67.70. That's right. Sixty Seven Dollars!! What kind of BS offer is that? Even they weighed the rings at a little over 1/2 ounce of Gold. The price per ounce of Gold at the time was around $980! What kind of BS offer is $67 dollars for 1/2 ounce!?!?
I figured, it's got to be a mistake on their end. I called the customer service number and the person who answered the phone kept defending the $67 offer. He didn't have the "gold price knowledge" to realize that $67 for 1/2 ounce of gold was BS!
We returned their check and we are waiting to get the items back. Again, Thank God we didn't try their much advertised "FAST CASH" option where they wire you the money but you can't argue the payment amount. BS!!

Thanks for NOTHING-no really nothing!
So I had some diamonds and gold and I thought hey I need the money bad (who doesn't) and I figured these guys were going to give me a return way better than any Pawn shop from the way they advertise...oh and they have a return deal. Sweet. WRONG. I was expecting at least 100.00...nope they sent me 25.00 bucks..so I called...no answer (go figure) so I left a message. TELL ME WHY have an answering machine when YOU don't call BACK?!? If they don't answer how can I tell them anything...how? oh and the check is sent out so late you are screwed...you can't send it back to them in time to get your stuff back. They sent me a letter saying they never got ANY communication from me about my DISATTIFICATION..so I HOPE YOU GET IT NOW!!!
I sent in two small diamonds in gold post and they gave me 2.00 bucks WHAT!? sure they were tiny but they costed WELL over 2.00 DOLLARS!!! Some stuff apparently had no precious gold so WHY DIDN"T I GET THAT STUFF BACK!? Karma sucks I hope your company goes down...file bankruptcy...lose YOUR jobs...it sucks companies like THIS stay in business while the GOOD ones go belly up.
HOw much did the people in your tv ad send you cuz for 500.00 dollars so they can take a vacation they musta ROBBED a pawn shop and sent you the store...otherwise I don't see how they made out THAT well...

Ripped Off
I too was duped into believing that Cash4Gold would give me fair value for a solid gold band wedding ring. I paid $350 for the ring 25 years ago. I sent it to Cash4Gold and they sent me a check for $8.32! To say I was shocked was an understatement. I called and the "manager" I spoke to said he would send me another payment of $25! Since I complained after they supposedly melted my ring down, I could not get my ring back. This company is preying upon people. They should be investigated for their misleading advertising and their deceptive ways. If you need to sell your gold go to a local dealer and deal face to face.
