rip off
they told me they were very intrested in my ring and 2 send them copy of appraisal so i did. my ring gia certified / appraised @ 2300.00 they got back 2 me with a useless amount under 100 dollars. why did they ask 4 copy of appraisal in 1st place if not truely intrested. the low ball the public in a BIG way.

Rip Off
I sent in items that had value. 24k black hills gold pendant, rings, and gold necklaces. Items that had 24k Gold listed on them when they were provided to me. Over the years, I had several necklaces that I no longer use and could use the money since the price of gasoline was high at the time that I sent the packaged envelope.
Warning: Do not send any items to them. If they declare that the items have $0 value. They hold the items and you have to pay to have the items returned. This is truly a scam. You have to send them payment by check or money order to get the items returned while they continue to hold the items.
I am so upset with this experience. I really wish that I would not have sent the items now. Please learn from my mistake. I want to warn others so that they do not make the same mistake as I did.

Ripped Off
On 9/26 I mailed in some old jewelry to Cash4Gold based on the TV ads I had seen about this company. The company finally acknowledged that they had rec'd my items on Oct. 7th and on Oct. 15th I rec'd a check in the huge amount of $39.09. I immediately emailed them and said that I would be returning the check because I was not happy with the amount they paid. They asked me what I expected to get for my items... DUH... All of it was 14KT gold, 1 large ring mounting, 1 large gold nugget pendant, 2 other pendants, and 1 earring. They indicated on the check stub that the items were 12KT. I know for a fact they were all 14KT because each item was stamped and I had also had the pieces checked. At any rate, I returned the check on Oct. 16th and they rec'd it on the 21st. I am still waiting for them to send back my items. They have told me that my items are ready to ship but they are waiting for a FED EX LABEL and NUMBER... These people must think that "Joe PUBLIC" was born under a rock. I emailed them tonight and said if my jewelry was not returned ASAP that I would be contacting the Attorney General's Office in Florida to complain. I rec'd an email back immediately stating that my items would be Fed Ex'd tomorrow and I would be provided with a tracking number. THIS IS A SCAM to the public. Totally misleading and NO ONE should fall for this the way that I did along with countless others.

What A Rip Off
On August 20, 2008 I sent to Cash4Gold their package they sent to me, to send in my jewlery. They garenteed that I would receive a sizable check within a few days. Needless to say they never received the package.
Now tell me with today USPostal Service HOW A PACKAGE can get lost?? Well, supposidly mine did. the tracking number they gave me is not the same as the Us Postal uses so there is no way to track my package. I sent in over $1, 000.00 worth of old and broken gold jewerly, and I received a phone call from them this morning telling me they will be sending me a check for $57.12.
They say they guarentee all packages for up too $100.00, so they are sending me a check for $57.12. I am so furious with them I will be looking into some sort of legal action. What ever you do, DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR JEWERLY, IT IS NOTHING BUT A BIG FRAUD.

FRAUD, DELAY
Like everyone here, I have old gold & silver and decided to give CASH4GOLD a shot. Boy did I get taken!! I sent them ALOT of my old gold and silver (enough to fill their bag they give you). Thinking I was going to get at least $100 for it all, I was excited. When I finally got the check, it was a mere $1.13. Thats it. I was shocked to say the least. I immedately emailed them & told them that I was not at all satisfied & that I wanted my jewelry back now, and if I didn't get it back that Iw as going to contact a lawyer. Well after a month of not hearing from them, I finally got my jewelry back today. Story over right? Nope. Not even close. When I looked over my jewelry, I was appauld. I had missing parts & some of my jewelry was broken! Some of my silver is even tarnished!! I am SO furious! I should've listened to my gut & took my jewelry to the pawn shop. I DO NOT recommend these thieves to anyone!! They are the BIGGEST RIP-OFF EVER!!

sent things to cash4gold nothing back
I sent rings and other broken things to cash4gold and they stated in three days I would receive acheck it is now going on three weeks and nothing. I called the number from TV and they gave me a number to some other place when I called it was Terminex pest control their number is 1-800-241-1811. I want a check or my stuff back in 1 to 3 days. Next step is to call the BBB

1 month later still nothing
sent gold 6-27-08 hear nothing . on7-15-08 i call they tell me gold was recieved on the 8th check sent on the 9th. asked that a new check be issued at that time . on 7-30 call back still nothing from them . they have no record of my first call. I would not recomend this company to my enemies.

FRAUD
I, too, sent them my 18K wedding band and an antique sterling silver herringbone necklace. First, like many of the others, they kept claiming they hadn't received it after 3 weeks, then once I got pretty testy they admitted they did have my package and would be issuing a check within 24 hours. I received the check on July 19, 2008 for $5.62, claiming my ring was 12K and the necklace was only worth $0.09. You have 10 days from the date of the check to return it and receive back your items, guess what, the check was dated 7/11/08!!! This gave me only 2 days to return their stupid check! So I emailed them and told them I was "officially" notifying them I would be returning their check and wanted my things back. I received a response that they would pull my items and return them as soon as they received their check.
WHAT A RIP OFF- THERE HAS TO BE SOMETHING WE AS CONSUMERS CAN DO TO STOP THESE MISLEADING ADVERTISEMENTS!!!
PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE...GO TO A REPUTABLE JEWELER OR APPRAISER. DON'T GET CAUGHT BY THIS "TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE" ADVERTISEMENT.
