Ripped off
What a ripoff, I sent in some gold scraps and silver to CASH$GOLD, I called to see how long it would take, They said they didn't receive it yet. But when I entered the tracking # the site said they have received it, So I then called again and they said there computer was giving false information (they surly are give people false info.) It took 3 weeks to receive a check. To my disappointment I got only 15.00 for what I sent them.One sterling necklace they gave a whole $1.05 for 18 grams, and a whole 2.00 for a 10k gold ring, A whole $1.95 for 12k rings, necklace. And a whole $10.00 for another 10grams of 10k gold... I would have done better at a paun shop (and you will too). So, don't get too angry if you read this, and then send your gold or silver...Trust me... I and many others were taken for a ride, and I m car sick over this.Its pretty sad they pray on the people that are having a hard time just to pay for gas nowadays. The little guys and gals get every time.

Fraud and scam
I saw Cash4Gold on TV and decided to send them a small piece of gold from a $3, 000. watch that I had made smaller several years ago. I was stunned to see that they not only graded it wrong but only gave me 65 cents for it. It also took way longer than what they said. I am very disappointed. Do not ever send your precious metals away for money. Sell locally so if you don't like the price it won't be a surprise and you can back out.

Delay and Rip Off
I had a great deal of scrap gold jewelry to sell, and I chose Cash4Gold.com because they advertise the highest prices paid. I shipped them over 20 oz of gold jewelry via overnight mail. There were a lot of stones in the jewelry but I estimate that there must have been at least 8-10 oz of gold.
This company advertises 24 hour turnaround on processing jewelry. They also have a "fast cash" option that allows them to wire the money directly into your bank account within another 24 hours - with the caveat that you lose the right to cancel the transaction within 10 days. I chose this option and based on their advertisement I expected the transaction to be complete within 48 hours of their receipt of my stuff.
They received my items on 7/1. When I had not heard from them on 7/3 I contacted their customer service, who advised me that the jewelry was still being processed (so much for the 24 hours) - then FINALLY they wired money into my account TODAY (7/9) which meant there was an 8-day turnaround. When I checked my bank I was stunned to see that they only paid me $196.64 when a local gold buyer had quoted me somewhere in the neighborhood of $2, 500-$3, 000.
I feel now that not only have I been grossly underpaid for the value of my jewelry but they took 8 days to complete the transaction - on top of that, since I chose the so-called "fast cash" option, I have no recourse of canceling the transaction and getting my gold back. Rip-off!

Fraud & scam
Cash4Gold is a BIG FRAUD, THEY ARE ISSUING FAKE CHECKS and they sent me one, here's my story: I sent some gold jewelry to Cash4Gold on the first week of April 2008, which I estimated to be worth more than $100. More than a week after, they sent me a check in the amount $7.93 which was pretty disappointing but I somehow managed to just accept and decided to deposit it to my bank.
After about 1 month, the check did NOT clear and my bank returned the check to me in the mail informing me that "this is not a check" as the routing number written on the bottom of the check is unverifiable and NOT in the correct format. They advised me to call the issuing bank and verify if the check is valid and if Cash4Gold ( I told them the account# in the check) has an account with them. For the puny amount amount of $7.93, I was still hoping that this would be a valid check BUT the person I was talking to CONFIRMED that Cash4Gold's account number written on the check is "NON-EXISTENT", and the routing number in tech check is NOT their routing number. So that person confirmed that the check is INDEED FAKE.
I still have the check with me as proof. I'M ALSO REPORTING THIS TO THE FTC, FBI, BBB, & USPS (for using the mail system to operate fraud). If you have been victimized by this company and you still have the check that they issued to you then please keep it as proof and please report them to the FTC, FBI, BBB & USPS (for using the mail system to operate fraud).
THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE TAKEN DOWN AND BE PROSECUTED FOR FRAUD!

Deceptive advertising!
We decided to use Cash4Gold after reading the great references cited on their website. We were going to sell our jewelry on craigslist.com but thought this sounded like a more effective way to maximize our profits. WHAT A JOKE! I finally received my check after weeks and weeks of waiting with no word and no confirmation that they even received my jewelry -- I feared it was gone for good. It might as well be lost! For a 14K gold bracelet that I was offered $75, $85, and $90 for on craigslist I received a whopping $4.73! I felt instantly sick and feared the worst.
For some small diamonds that they took our of a ring they paid me $0.21. Yes, that is twenty-one cents. Add in a 14k ring and pair of earrings and my total windfall was $7.51. I feel like I've been sucker punched and just hope someone reads this and saves themself the time, energy and agony of going through this process.
This is a scam people. I don't how they got Forbes and the BBB to endorse them -- perhaps they did a few good deals at first to get the recognition but now they are nothing but thieves.
