cash4gold scam
Hello, i was checking out all of the complaints on this site about cash4gold. I send them jewerly back on January 14th, 2010. After waiting for 3 weeks they finally told me that my envelope never arrived to their location. They send me an insurance claim form that will pay me $100. for my package. I know that the gold i send them was worth more. They are nothing but liars that try to take advantage of the american people on this times of need. I just got done filing a complaint with BBB. Everyone else should do the same. Dont let them get away with it.

NEVER RECIEVED MONEY
I sent in jewelry to get their so called big money and it's suppose to be guarateed. They said they never got it and I checked with the post office it had my return address on it. They said they would settle with me for 28.00 and it said on the check i item. I sent 2 chains 2 pairs of earring a ring and two single earrings that is a total rip off. Please list them because I think it is a scam. I sent the check and paper work back with a letter askinh why the check said for 1 item and have never heard from them since. I am needless to say very angry. I am out my jewejry and the money.

Rip Off!
Please, DO NOT send your jewelry to this company! We sent in (5) 14k yellow gold necklaces, (3) 14k yellow gold bracelets, (2) sterling silver bracelets and (1) 14k yellow gold butterfly ring with 4 diamond chips in it.
We recieved a check for $9.07!
I promptly called the company and told them I was sending the check back the next day and to not process our material. I also expressed how disgusted I was disgusted that they would rip off a consumer like this!
It took three weeks to get our jewelry back, but it all came back and was intact.
We still have the receipts for this jewelry, believe it or not, The total dollar amount for the total 11 pieces of jewelry is $1, 842.00...
They were going to pay us $9.07??? Are you kidding me??? After reading other rip off reports on this site, we feel lucky we got our jewelry back...
Don't do business with this company, they are just out to insult consumers and make a killing from your loss.

scam
I now see that cash4gold is a scam . I wish I could of seen this before I sent my Jewelry to them.I did it because I need to get Christmas for my grandson.It has been awhile now and nothing.I just can't see why it was on TV and it was a scam . I sent 3 wedding bands and 10 other rings and I though I could give my grandson a good Christmas been layed off from work and no money and now looks like I'm out for good .It's been 3 weeks. What a scam !!!

Rip off
Looking at supposedly Michael Phelps and others have endorsed these crooks must be a fake advertisement. I sent them gold and it took 9 days for them to even acknowledge that they had received my materials. When I did receive my check it was a disgrace what they are paying people for their gold. I email them right off and requested my materials back and they offered me a additional amount of money when I refused to accept the pennies that they were offering then they instructed me to send the check back and they would return my items as soon as they received their check. I sent their check back priority mail and sent them a self address stamped priority envelope for my items to be returned because I did not want any excuses for returning my items it has been 9 days since they received their check back and I still have not received anything in the mail. I am going to contact the BBB in Tulsa, OK and inform them of this scam and make sure that all the people that I know do not use these crooks. They have made a killing off of people in the short time that they have been around. The good Lord do not like ugly he will fix these kinds of people. I feel real sorry for them when it comes around to their time to pay the cost at the day of judgement.

Rip-Off
What a total rip-off!!! I had more than one ounce of gold and 6 ounces of silver, they sent me $46!!! It took two weeks and I live in thier postal area! Everything on their commercial was a lie, I cannot imagine how much that old lady must have turned in to get six hundred dollars! Don't anyone fall for this, I am getting my stuff back for no fee, but WHAT A RISK, DON'T DO IT!!!

Misled
I had a pair of gold earrings. I sent one to Cash4Gold. While they had the earring, I took the other earring two places in order to compare prices. Cash4Gold sent me a check for $49.96 The other places I took the earring offered me $200 and $260. I immediately wrote Cash4Gold, saying I wanted my earring back. They wrote me back, saying they would send it back to me immediately. About a week later they called me and said that the price of gold had gone up and they would like to offer me $90 more for a total of $139.96. I had been following the price of gold during this time, and knew that the price of gold had not gone up. In fact, it had gone steadily down almost every day since I had sent the earring to them and it was now significantly lower than when they sent me the check for $49.96.
I said no, I wanted the earring back. After being asked to hold twice, I was then told that it was gone! After saying that I had a letter from them saying that they would send it back, I was told to hold again. This time they found the earring. About ten days later, I received the earring in the mail.

Delay and ripoff
I had a great deal of scrap gold jewelry to sell, and I chose Cash4Gold.com because they advertise the highest prices paid. I shipped them over 20 oz of gold jewelry via overnight mail. There were a lot of stones in the jewelry but I estimate that there must have been at least 8-10 oz of gold. This company advertises 24 hour turnaround on processing jewelry. They also have a "fast cash" option that allows them to wire the money directly into your bank account within another 24 hours - with the caveat that you lose the right to cancel the transaction within 10 days. I chose this option and based on their advertisement I expected the transaction to be complete within 48 hours of their receipt of my stuff.
They received my items on 7/1. When I had not heard from them on 7/3 I contacted their customer service, who advised me that the jewelry was still being processed (so much for the 24 hours) - then FINALLY they wired money into my account TODAY (7/9) which meant there was an 8-day turnaround. When I checked my bank I was stunned to see that they only paid me $196.64 when a local gold buyer had quoted me somewhere in the neighborhood of $2, 500-$3, 000.
I feel now that not only have I been grossly underpaid for the value of my jewelry but they took 8 days to complete the transaction - on top of that, since I chose the so-called "fast cash" option, I have no recourse of canceling the transaction and getting my gold back. Rip-off!
