Today I stopped by the Nordstrom Rack, on Galleria Blvd.in Roseville
CA, on my way home from work. I was in a good mood until I got to the
cashier. As this young lady was ringing up my stuff I saw that she
did not discount my item more due to the red clearance ticker on it.
I told her that is an additional percent off...she told me I know.
She then said do you have a nordstroms card? I was trying to pay
attention to what she was ringing to the amounts that were coming up
on the screen..I said no. She then asked if I would like one..i told
her no. She then said why? I could not believe she asked me that!!
Why? I do not have to give her a reason. I said to her because I
already have enough cards. She said have I offered you a card before?
I said yes. She said I did not have to be so mean. I said me
telling you that I do not want the card does not mean that I am being
mean. I could not believe this lady's behavior! Calling the customer
mean for telling her I am not interest in a card. No means no! Then
calling me mean on top of that? What? This woman's demeanor towards
me was very ghetto. The cashier next to her looks like her eyes were
going to pop out of her head...she could not believe the way this lady
was talking to me. Bottom line I did not deserve to be treated the
way she treated me today. I have never had a bad experience there
ever except for today. She told me as she gave me my baf hope you
have a better day so you won't be so mean. I am do dumbfounded on
what to do! I wanted to confront this woman right then and there but
on the other hand I did not want to feed into her drama. I will still
shop there as long as she is not cashiering...if she is I will take my
business elsewhere.
