They tried to SCAM me
I applied for a payday loan, I recieved the loan and paid it back, 5 months after paying back the loan, I was contacted by a so-called attorney for CashNet USA saying that I still owed them money. First off, I had to listen to the message about 12 times b4 I could understand what the man (Darryl Simms ) as he claimed was saying.I told Darryl that I could provide proof that I paid back this loan.He then said to me, he doesn't care what proof I think I have, if I didn't pay the money today, I should contact my lawyer immediately..To add injury to insult he even went as far as to say May GOD help me, because I had no idea what I was in for. I could do nothing but laugh !! In fact my laughter mad him angry..I said to him take me to court if you !! hahaha, I have bank documents !! He said that the police would be at my job in the morning to arrest me nad again May GOD help me...and then he hung up... To no surprise to me, I wasn't arrested the next day!! Darryl had the nerve to call me around 3pm that day and say that he took mercy on me but if I did not pay TODAY..he couldn't stop what was going to happen next... Exuse my language but I told Darryl where he could get off at, and it wasn't nice!! that was 1 month ago... I haven't heard from Darryl since !! I think it's sad the way these ppl prey on others...MAY GOD HELP THEM !! CashNetUsa (aka..CNU ) =SCAMMERS!!!

Fraud/Unauthorized Bank Drafts
Earlier this year I took out a payday loan with this company. On 04/12/2011 I received an email from my bank that a debit of $253.00 had been returned that was sent by CashNet USA. I then received an email 24 hours later stating they were going to take out the same amount on 04/15/2011 because the first one did not go through. At this time I called the company and told them the money WOULD NOT be available at that time and that I needed more time to come up with the funds. The operator told me she could move the transaction out to 04/19/2011 (which she didn't do) and I received another email that said the funds would be coming out on 04/15/2011. I called and again told them the funds WOULD NOT be available and the women told me that she could not change or cancel this transaction. Notice that there are only 3 business days between the first attempt and the second attempt. I faxed and emailed the company a "Cease and Desist" order and specifically stated several times that they are NOT AUTHORIZED to withdraw any funds from any of my accounts. The company refused to acknowledge acceptance of this and sent a copy of my contract stating they could do what they wanted and I couldn't do anything about it.
The company in fact CHANGED THE TRANSACTION TO FORCE THE TRANSACTION TO GO THROUGH as an "Internet Payment" instead of an AHC Transaction. On 04/15/2011 the transaction did in fact go through charging two amounts of $117.50 to come from my account plus a charge of $70.00 for NSF charges in addition to the NSF from Monday. Again on 04/22/2011 the company had tried to put through an additional transaction of $61.50 which declined and was charged additional NSF charges.
The way this company conducts business is illegal and NOT in accordance with my Alabama State Law concerning payday loans. I have offered to pay the loan in accordance with Alabama Law - 4 equal monthly payments. This company refused to follow the law or acknowledge my rights as a customer.

Loan Fraud
I just recently received a phone call from someone claiming to be from Cashnet USA, that I owed them money and that he would have me arrested if I didn't pay him $350.00 right away. Ofcourse I didn't and he called my job like 4 times to yell at my and try to get me to pay. The problem is I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN A LOAN FROM CASHNET USA. And I'm so upset that the guy new my name, number ss# and even bank account, he can do major damage with all this information. I called CASHNETUSA to ask about this, ofcourse all they said was that it was fraud and that they were working on it, the lady even said she would call me back, it's been 3 days and no call from anyone there at all... they don't care what happens to you and from what I have been reading this has been around for a while.. I wouldn't even go to their website and do business with a company who can't even help you out.

Fraus and Scam/Harassment
I receive multiple harassing phone calls everyday. Each time they call it is from a different number with a different area code. These people have thick Indian accents, in the background you can hear loud voices and phones ringing. They also call my work and harass my co-workers. The threats are all the same: Detective Josh Miller with the Bureau of Investigation etc...except each time they use a different name. They have all my information and threaten me with arrest. They have also managed to somehow access my address book on my cell phone and have called my family and friends. Short of changing my phone number I don't know what else to do. They leave not only threatening and harassing messages but also sexually explicit and violent messages. The local police department advises there is nothing they can do. I have told them to quit calling me, I have reported them to the BBB, and tried all avenues. I am worn out and this is very distressing. I have used up all of my available blocks on my phone. I guess I will have to change my number.

Fraud coleections
I have received several calls from people claiming to be officers calling to inform me of a lawsuit that has been filed against my name and SS# for an internet loan from CashnetUSA. All of the calls come from FL, WA. or NY and all from foreigners that don't speak English well enough to understand them. I have contacted a couple back afater several calls were made and requested they send a certified letter from a lawyer to my home address as well as email me for which they all have my email from the internet. All have responded they cannot do that as it is illegal to send me written notification. All have claimed to be officers of the court or work with the Attny General, or American Law Dept or Dept of Crime & Investigations. They refuse to give me an email address to contact them. When I call the #s they give I ask for the person who called me Officer Charlie Brown, Officer Shawn Williams, Officer Jess Orlando and the list goes on but when I am transferred to that person it is the same person who transferred me. They state I or my lawyer need to contact them to settle a lawsuit against my name & SS# and if I they don't hear from me they can only wish me good luck and god bless as the consequences are on me. They refuse to contact me in writing or stop calling about a fictitious loan that was never paid to me to begin with. In fact was rejected for the funds for one reason or another. They did however seel this info to these people for scam purposes. I am not liable for paying a debt I do not owe nor will I tolerate being harassed at work or anywhere else. I have had a couple of these "officers" tell me they will send out an officer to have me arrested for committing a crime. I have reported them to the Attorney General, The Federal Crime Investigations Board, The Better Business Bureau, as well as my local police dept just so they know this problem exists. CashnetUSA is not an up&up outfit as they will take your information sell it illegally as I know when I tried to apply I specifically marked that I do not want them to share my info with their other companies but they did so anyway. They will fraudulantly try to collect non existant debts as wll as debts that are no longer from what I have read on the internet.
THIS IS A FRAUD CLAIM A SCAM CLAIM THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY!!!

harrasment
I got a phone call @ my work place from someone saying he was a laywer from ny and i owed cash net usa so much money and did i want 2 pay it now. when I told the guy i was at work and couldnt talk 2 him he got very rude and told me he was goin 2 file chargers against me . I ask him 2 send me proof I owed this bill with the account # and date ..and proof of who he was all he did was get ruder and said he couldnt that i took the load out on long so he didnt have 2 mail me anything ...Then this rude man calls my sick mom telling her he was goin 2 file chargers against me if she didnt settle with him. What can i do ??? I had 2 close the account because they took the loan out when there was enough in there 2 cover it over and over they was taking money and the bank even looked into them ..

they called me that i owed them money i never barrowed. they said if i didnt call back by 530 two officers would visit me at home 7 place of work i called back at first they said that they were sueing me i told them when the loan was taken out & what bank, ( being that i dont have bank account they hung up on me i called back got same lady saying she would have to pull up my file when she had just told me she had all the evidence in front of her.so i call back again a lil mad & said i didnt take out no dam loan the guy said i will not talk to u if u use swear words & hung up . so i called back & really started swearing & he said i will be the one getting introuble for that i told him whatever im not the one treating people & making thier familys worry he hung u . I NEVER TOOK OUT LOAN dammm

unauthorized draw on checking account
I TOOK A LOAN FOR 250.00 AND THE INTEREST WAS $62.50. I PAID THIS BACK IN FULL ON ARRANGED DATE. THEY TRIED TO TAKE MONEY OUT OF MY CHECKING ACCOUNT UNAUTHORIZED SAYING I HAD ASKED FOR AN EXTENSION AND NEVER DID SO. I GUESS MY ONLY RECOURSE IS TO FILE WITH THE BBB.

Customer Service & Application Process Blow, Impossible To Get Loan
I needed to take a payday loan to get me through the next couple of weeks due to some unexpected expenses. I received a solicitation in the mail from CashNet USA offering 50% off loan fees. So I thought I would give them a try. This is the first time I have EVER tried getting a payday loan from anyone.
I go to the site, fill in the application and click continue. The site returns "you already have an account." WTF?!? So I try resetting the password...no luck. I try the "forgot email" link...no luck (my info "not recognized"). I contact customer service through chat. It takes 20 minutes for them to comprehend the situation. They finally give me a temporary password. I complete the application process only to be denied. Denied? For $250.00? I TAKE HOME $725.00 PER WEEK. My bureau scores are 700+ across the board. My FICO score is 700+. The maximum payday loan limit in my state is $600.00. How the hell was I denied???

Fraudulent practices
My complaint here is pretty simple. I have taken out several loans from this company, Cashnetusa.com . I just wanted to share my experiences with them. Customer service is a JOKE and extremely rude. They DO NOT have the best interest of the customer at heart. Like they say they do. Instead they try to find each and every way to get as much money out of you as they can. If they feel like they can get more they will go after it. When i first started taking loans from them everything was ok... Until that first time i called in to customer service. The customer service rep was totally not trying to help me, instead he was pretty much laughing at me telling me this and that...but basically just trying to get off the phone with me. I have NEVER been late on any payments or payoffs to cashnetusa and they still treat me like a dog with no respect. I don't know about you, but i don't want to do business with a company like that. You would think that they would treat the people (especially the ones that actually pay off the loans timely) with a little respect.
Ever since i made the loan app I have been getting offers from SEVERAL different companies. So what that tells me is they SELL your information also. So be aware of that also!
Also the use deceptive business practices. They have this reward program for people that take certain amount of loans out. Not $ values but like after your 5th loan you get 10% off...10 loan = 20% all the way to after the 15th loan you get 30% off. BE REAL CLEAR here: You must apply the loan yourself. I guess they use advanced computers to figure the loans and such to cut down the paperwork and their idiot involvement...but the computers are not smart enough to apply a discount code. IT IS DECEPTIVE. but what it also is is just a way for them to bilk you outta more money.
There are plenty of reputable companies that do these types of loans. My recommendation is deal with some tha are local to your area. I can all but guarantee you will have better luck and respect with a local company. Companies like cashnetusa are NOTHING BUT A TRAP FOR PEOPLE IN A HARD TIME. AND WHAT MAKES IT EVEN WORSE: CASHNETUSA HELPS THEM OUT THEM SCREWS THEM OVER IF THEY ARE NOT CAREFUL.
