I really did know better, but I did it anyhow. I had two old cellphones to be rid of and I looked up what to do with with and this was the first website that I came across CashOldPhones.com out of Rome, NY. I did some searching around but they offered the best price. I knew that this was a red flag. I had gotten rid of phones before and never had a problem. So, I sent the phones off as CashOldPhones.com offered me $20 each. I had two phones and I took a chance. I sent them off on 3/10/2011 and I had received a confirmation email which updated to show that they "had received the phones and were checking their condition". It was said that they had to have the phones for 30 days and then a check would be issued. (I thought this was a red flag but I ignored it) Fast forward to today--it is well past 30 days and no check, co update, no response to any of my emails. It is really not a big deal. The phones were free from ATT but it is annoying. I could have donated them and should have. I knew that this was a scam from the beginning but I ignored my inner voice and now am paying the price. I just hope that the phones explode in their faces.

I signed up with casholdphones.com to trade in my old sell phones for cash. I mailed my phones too them OVER 6 weeks ago and now. There website clearly states that you mail in your phoen and after 30 days you recieve a check in the mail. It has been 45 days!!! I should have just solf my BB bold on ebay.

I have emailed them several times...no response. There is no phone number to call them. You can only contact them via a online email system throught their website - but it doesn't matter because they will no email you back. I have threatened legal action, a lawsuit, to report them and stil NOTHING!! I have chucked this up as a loss, and I am beyond pissed. DO NOT USE THEM!
