repair service completely incompetent
sent casio privia px330 to nj repair facility - sent ups (so, they had all tracking info on label). placed repair order on casio website, printed out, placed in box w. piano. this was a new model, and sent for repair less than a year after piano first available on market. no sales receipt. it's been 2 months, and after "losing my information" TWICE, the "manager" still has not contacted me (after THIRD time giving them information) although they've had piano for TWO MONTHS, AND they are REFUSING to honor warranty!! (problem is clearly software defect and not anything I did).
THE WORST customer service/support/repair I have ever experienced. (and this was my fourth privia piano- never again).
STAY AWAY FROM ANYTHING CASIO!!!

rock cell phone
This is the most horrible phone I have ever owned! I have had it replaced twice! It is just a disgrace for a phone. You would think it would be worth a crap for what you pay for it and how good they say it is but in all honesty it isnt worth the time it took me to get it at the store.

Customer Service
I purchased a Casio PRO TREK Triple Sensor watch that monitors and records altitude, barometric pressure, temperature & has a compass built in. The altitude function is extremely inaccurate. I have talked with both Customer Service and Repair Service in NJ many times. Twice, they told me to send the watch in for repair. Twice, they have said that the watch meets specifications while testing in their laboratory and returned it to me. This testing was done at a fixed altitude since they do not have the facility to test under varying altitudes.

Since I was so dissatisfied with the only months old $300 watch, I purchased a TIMEX Expedition for $250. It is highly accurate and when set beside the CASIO in a fixed location, only had minor altitude changes due to varying barometric pressures while the CASIO varied by many hundreds of feet. Similar difference were experienced at different altitudes.

I wrote a letter to the CEO of CASIO and info'd the head of repair services in December. It is now the end of March and I have not heard from either of these persons.

While I have other CASIO products and have had others that I was and am satisfied with, I will never purchase another CASIO product and will advise others not to purchase CASIO products due to the lack of customer support and communication that CASIO doesn't provide.

My problems with Casio!!

Casio really sucks!! .. I am still waiting for Mandy or Gus to call me back about my refund ... I had a problem with my Exilim ~EX-S10 camera which I loved ... the camera was not even a year old. Since I lived close to the office I took it in myself and they said they fixed the problem, when I got the camera back it had the same problem, so I took it back again. They replaced it with a reconditioned camera !!! Guess what 3 weeks later there was no image... sent the camera back of course it was now out of warranty, according to them~ lucky me !! They said the camera must have been dropped, which did not happen at all ~~ They offered to fix it or I could do an upgrade~~~ ohhh but I have to pay for it!! ~~~ I said no. I feel I was given a defective camera. They insisted no. Ok I decided to pay for the replacement (UPGRADE!!) camera. Now they no longer have the EX-S10~~ WOW!!~~ what does that tell you ... problems with this camera ... HMMMMMMM, makes you wonder. I am a fair person so I went for the upgrade, ohhhhhhh what a night mare. I put out $298.53 ~~I got the camera December 23 2009, the EX fh 20 ~ utter crap the camera never worked it had problems .. Yes!! you guessed it, it was RECONDITIONED~~~ I drove to the office on December 30th 2009 TO EXCHANGE IT ... Now they said they could not do an exchange ... " Leave it for repair " I told them NO WAY ~I was very disappointed and I wanted a refund I did not want the camera I have just had it with Casio, I really wanted nothing more to do with them or their product, I had just had enough.
I have a lot of patience~ I sat in the lobby for about an hour .. Spoke to 2 people in management names mentioned above and was told the person who approves refunds was out of the office and I would get a call January 2nd 2010. Never got the call.. I called January 7th 2010 was told I would get my refund by January 12th 2010 … called again Jan 21st 2010, call again February 2nd 2010 still no refund ... I have no camera Casio has my money and they are not working with me. I am about to loose it and Casio will be sorry. They have no Idea. I was told Gus would call me Thursday 4th or Friday 5th of last week, of course I got no call. Something has to be done about how Casio treats their customers. I would not recommend Casio cameras to anyone. I want MY MONEY BACK.

DATABANK WATCH
I LIKE MY CASIO DATABANK WATCH, BUT I DISLIKE THE FACT THAT THE CASING IS MADE OF SOME KIND OF CHEAP/WEAK PLASTIC. AS A RESULT OF THE POOR PLASTIC, THE EARS WHICH PROJECT FROM THE CASE (IN WHICH THERE ARE PINHOLES IN WHICH THE PINS THAT HOLD THE WATCH STRAP ARE INSERTED) BREAK OFF ON A FREQUENT BASIS.

BECAUSE I LIKE THE WATCH ITSELF, I HAVE BOUGHT NEW REPLACEMENT CASINGS INSTEAD OF BUYING A NEW WATCH. I HAVE BOUGHT SO MANY CASINGS OVER THE YEARS, I HAVE LOST COUNT.

I HAVE SEEN ON THE INTERNET A NUMBER OF OTHER COMPLAINTS FROM OTHER DATABANK OWNERS ABOUT THE EARS BREAKING OFF THEIR WATCH CASINGS.

IT IS EVIDENT THAT THIS IS A PROBLEM THAT CASIO HAS SHAMEFUILLY ANDINEXCUSABLY FAILED TO ADDRESS.

Casio Exilim
4 months ago I purchased a new Casio EX-Z1080 from Amazon.com. Everything was great with it until around Halloween time when I started having problems. Keep in mind I babyed this camera, never dropped or bannged it once, purchased a special, padded hard case for it and it was in like NEW condition with not a scratch on it.

One day I was taking a picture and then switching mode to view and the screen went black and the camera shut off, lens still out. After that the power button was non responsive. I took the battery out and put it back in and at that time, the lens retracted and it came back on.

Now about 2 weeks ago the same exact problem happened, however no matter what I did, the camera would not respond. The lens was out but nothing would happen.

I called Casio customer support and they gave me instructions on sending the camera in for repair under warrenty. I paid out of pocket to have the camera sent to their repair facility. 4 days later I get an e-mail saying it would cost me $140 to repair the camera.

Yep, for a 4 month old camera. I called and the customer service lady told me the technician said there was evidence of the camera being misued or dropped. Which is complete baloney. I never dropped the camera once.

Then she said her supervisor would call me in 24-48 hours to discuss the issue with me and its 4 days later and I never received a call.

Now, I have to pay another $8 for them to send it back to me broken.

I will never ever buy a Casio again and I can't wait to tell everyone I know what a crummy company Casio is.

Casio product as their service stinks!
I sent my new camera, 5 weeks old to CASIO for repair on May 21.07, Price at Brandsmart $ 390.00 plus memory card of $45.00

Today is June 25.07 over one month later!

I have phoned several times and nobody could give me an answer what happened to my camera. Then, three weeks ago, I received a camera from another customer, I called and they said they would send me a UPS label to ship the camera back. That label I received on. June 20. and I sent the camera from the other customer out the next day. But, so far no response. If you like to have the names of the persons working for CASIO, I have them all with the date when I contacted them.

I would not recommend any person to buy a CASIO product as their service stinks.

They don't care, they don't want to help and the most popular answer from there service department is: "I don't know".

G shock - battery replacement problem
I was a big fan of G shock and all of their products for many years now.
a few years ago I bought a Mudman "Gaussman AW-570" Analog with the Titanium back plate. i bought the watch at "The G Shock Store" in Manhattan, New York.
I only ever wore G shock watches, the greatest watches ever made, until you send them in!

Recently, I called their Dover, New Jersey location 6/28/06 to have the battery replace in the Gaussman, I asked if the letters on the case could be brightened and maybe the band replaced. The watch only had very little superficial ware, but I loved it, so I wanted it to be perfect. that watch had been all over the world with me always 100% reliable!
The operator said sure send 37.00 dollars , good price reasonable, no problem.
A few weeks later "Dover Casio" sent me a new watch and it was not even a "Mudman Guassman" nor was it Analog. I sent a 350.00 dollar watch and was sent a 50.00 dollar watch I can't wear!
I called and complained and was told "to bad, your watch is gone", I called two, three more times each time the operator didn't know what i was talking about! Finally an operator told me that the "management" had decided I could pick a new watch out, I could only spent up to 225.00 dollars on a new watch. I said my watch was 350.00! Casio New Jersey said take it or leave it. Their were no Mudman for sale in America any more, and the only Anti magnetic watches were under 80.00 dollars and crappy.
I called back two, three more times each time the operator new nothing, I gave them the work number they had on the invoice Finally an operator said we found your watch just send us the watch we sent you and we will replace the battery and band in your Guassman , I was very much relieved. I sent the other watch back and waited 1 month 2 months finally 9/18 /07 I called to complain, what was taking so long.
I was treated very rudely by a "Chuck" I told him 3 months was long enough and I was a little up set he only got ruder and louder. I told him I thought that he was very incompetent, and what was the problem . He said my watch was lost once more and i should call again.
I called the next day, by chance "Chuck" answered again and yelled at me, " you just called yesterday what do you expect !" " Competency I exclaimed!"
Chuck one of the operators really got mad yelling etc, then I received my "Guassman" G shock back 9/23/07 .
Well man it was destroyed the band cut the case looks like it has been threw a grinder and nothing was done, nor was my money refunded the 37.00 dollars for repairs that were never done. I have tried to call and talk to Managers the president in New Jersey location. No one has returned my calls and I have been treated like shit and my property destroyed by Casio's New Jersey incompetent unprofessional employees.
I really don't think I'm being unreasonable, what do you think?
Now i find out that their is a club for "Mudman Guassman" watches people all over the world, and that my 350.00 dollar watch is a collectors item worth maybe 500.00 dollar if it were in (good condition)!!
I really don't think I'm being unreasonable, I have been treated horribly.
What next?

Tommy
