Dear Sir,
I, P. Ramkumar, bought this postpaid service for ph.# 09360308584 at your Thanjavur office more than 2 years ago. After that we made several attempts to transfer it to the name of the changed user, V. Sethuraman located at Karuveli, Tiruvarur dist.
Each time we were given the run-around between Thanjavur-Tiruvarur & Kumabakonam, and no one seemed to know the exact procedure for the name transfer.
The Reliance signal at Karuveli was marginal at best, and over the last 6 months we decided not to use it, and informed your office at all these places many times.
Your records will show that I had asked that R-connect be disconnected more than 4 months ago, but you had not done that & have been sending monthly bills for zero-usage to my now-defunct Thanjavur address.
Over the last 3 months we got tired of it & asked your Kumbakonam office to take our number off your records. Apparently you have not done that, nor have you informed us that you have not done that!
Today we get a call from your Tiruvarur office to pay up for the last 3 months, or else....
I have lived in USA for more that 30 years and I know litigational procedures well. Under the circumstances when your records will show that no use has been made thru this phone for many many months, and you had not cared to take off the R-connect charges either, even after I had asked your Kumbakonam office to do so. You are welcome to litigate over this, and I shall be happy to defend myself.
2 years ago your Kumbakonam office told us that you are setting up a tower at Natchiarkoil, 12 km from my village. That has never happened. Meanwhile BSNL has set up its tower at 4 km from us, and have also give broad-band connection very satisfactorily.
Sincerely,
V.Sethuraman
