fraudulent withdrawal from bank
i had an amount of $29.98 fraudulently removed from my bank account for something which i knew nothing about and hadnt even heard about them or gave permission to take money from my account and have certainly never ordered anything
my bank advised me to get the money back from them and if i didnt get it i was to get back to them and they will pass it to their fraud dept
cd earth said they would refund it and returned it to the card which i told them was cancelled - this was 4/2/10 and they are now saying they dont owe me anything despite having emailed me admitting liability
they will not get away with this and i have advised them i will leave unfavourable feedback/reviews on every website i can and will spread the word to anyone who will listen as they should not be allowed to get away with this and probablt expect people to ignore it and to be vigilant in future - well i'm afraid i am not one of these people

PAID FOR UNWATED CDs
I ordered & received 4 free CDs during October 2009 & paid the postage with my credit card .
I never requested more CDs.
During December 2009, I received more CDs to "test", but I immediately send it back, before I even took it home.
Then I received a message from my credit card to inform me that CD Earth requested a payment of over R450.00.
I immediately requested the credit card devision not to pay CD Earth, because I already send the CDs back to them & I do not want any money to be paid out to them or any CDs from them.
Please, request them to pay my money back & take my name off their address list & never ever send me any CDs again.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE - CONTACT YOUR LOCAL ATTORNEY GENEREAL'S OFFICE AND FILE A COMPLAINT - THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THEM.
ordered what i thought was a neat cd - gourmet recipies - did not like cd - returned them - wanted a refund would not give - they tell me now i did not reutrn cd's - the "manager" MARJEAN, was extremely rude, called me a liar more times than i care to count - took money out of my account again this month and have refused to return this money which was not authorized
asked for her manager she said their no one over her - can u believe that - she didnt even know her mailing address
they send me 4 cd's for the price of 2, ha ha ha - they don't work either and has caused virsuses on my comptuor
i am going to try and find out where their headquarters are and contact them by phone

Scam CD's
The company promised 4 free CD but needed postage cost. One CD was supposed to be 1001 Solitaire games and Mahjong. It had only one solitaire game on the CD. Then they wanted payment for 2 CD's and now want to post other 4 CD's. The company is an absolute rip-off agent. I will be contcting my bank to stop further payments against my credit card

SCAM
I never received the CD's (ok technicaly I did)
The fine print on the web site read
6. Software Library Club Membership and Billing. CD EARTH provides numerous products, services, and software in connection with its business. With respect to software provided hereunder, there is a discounted, non-refundable shipping and processing fee of USD$2.96 for the initial four CD software set. You may keep any two CD's free of charge from the initial set. The other two CD's in the first set are yours to review during a 25 day trial period WHICH STARTS THE DAY YOU RECEIVE YOUR CD'S. If for any reason you decide the complete set is not for you, simply visit us at www.cdearth.com/freecd before your 25 day free trial expires. You will need to follow the instructions at such web link to indicate your intention to return two of the CD's and you will not be charged for the two trial CDs. If you elect to keep all four CD's or you otherwise fail to comply with the foregoing instructions, you will be billed to the credit or debit card provided the price of $14.99 for each of the two trial CD's.
After placing the order I discovered the complaints about the company and called to cancel. I was sent an e-mail confirming this. Then the cd's came (or atleast I assumed it was the cd's) I simply wrote " refused - return to sender" . Then a month later I get charged $29.98 on my check card. I have contacted the company only to be told I need to speak with a superviser. However there is not one avaliable at this moment and placed on hold . After 20 mins I hungup and retryed the call .Again the same thing (if I had not ended the call (s) I would probably stiill be on hold).
I am curently contacting my bank to file fraud charges.

did not receive free cd + shipped on 4/28/08
It's really not a complaint, it's just that I have not received the free cd and the other two cd's.
