Scam
CDWS was the biggest scam. I had the warranty for about 5 months and had gone 4, 000+ miles when my fan clutch and heater core went out on me. I contacted CDWS to see if I could take it to the dealer to have it checked out. They told me yes. So when I did the michanic found that my heater core was going out and my fan clutch was also almost toast. Then when the mechanic countacted CDWS and told them the problem they said no we will not pay for what is covered he asked why and got no response. I myself have tried to contact them and have got hung up on givin wrong numbers, and treated rudely.

Not Stand By Policy
I have a oil leak from pump.and have water leak from water pump.they are claiming that its typical ware and tare. This is Service Failure On Consumer Direct Warranty Services.Normal ware is oil change, lights, tuneup, but leaks is a failure of a part and water pump is shot.how can you justify this problem is normal ware?I paid $3, 500. for extended warranty for what?I ask the rep well if i did't put extra oil in to get to Ford Dealer and I blew my engine would they stand behind that?well possibilty is is what she reply?I ask her what exactly does this company stand behind?anything that is not normal ware.which is?she would never give a direct anwser.Do they make up there own stipulation as they go along?I like atleast waterpump or reinburst of my $3, 500.they have done nothing for me nor my truck other than ID card.

Fraudulent warranty practices
I was contacted by this company for an extended auto warranty by USPS. The initial warranty information never mentioned anything about worn or burned parts resultin in a denied claim; however, after I had already signed up for the warranty and provided my debit card information for automatic monthly deductions, I received a handbook with these two terms listed which would cause a claim to be denied. Also, the handbook stated that if I did not complete the monthly payments, I would be referred to a collection agency.
I had one more payment due when the starter went bad on my car. According to the mechanic at the shop, the bendix was BROKEN. The company sent their own representative, and he denied the claim stating that it wasn't broken just worn out.
I contacted the BBB in Ohio and the FTC (1-877-382-4357)to file complaints against this company. To date I have not heard anything. I would encourage anyone who has a complaint with this or any company to contact the FTC. How many people have to be scammed before companies like this are put out of business.
