They dont even deserve one star but i had no choice. I have experienced the same thing. my car went in for minor repairs. three weeks later, three quotes later, after i have paidR16000 and trusted their first assessment, i had to take my car to Boksburg Auto Alpina. I had to pay another dealer to fix the problem that was initially reported to Cedar isle auto. Berry Willis, the principal dealer refused to pay the R12000 that it cost me to take it to another delaer. They have no clue what they doing but expect their clients to pay. You take your car in to a "professional" and trust their assessment and have no problem to pay for these repairs but when you have to take your car back again and again and every time they expect you to pay again and again and again as their story of the problem changes every time.
I logged a complaint with the national consumer commission (
[email protected]) as well as Carte blanche. When i e mailed Berry that i will be taking the matter further, in stead of apologising for their incompetance, he threatened me with legal action should i tarnish their relationship. Like i said before - judging from the amount of complaints against this dealership, they doing a pretty good job to tarnish their own reputation themselves. He is either very ignorant or very ....... as he cannot or don't want to understand why i am complaining. How would you feel if you take your car in for repairs, they tell you what the problem is, you pay, take the car back and now they telling you it is a different problem, they expect you to pay again, and again, then ending paying someone else to fix it first time and pay for it again!
