I am totally disgusted with the service from Cell C
I upgraded my contract with Cell C on the 19 October 2009. I was promised my new phone within 3 - 7 working days from day of upgrade. No phone was received to date. I called Customer services yesterday the 27 October and was told that my phone will be delivered today thye 28 October 2009. It is past 4pm and still I have not received anything. I called customer services again today the 28 October and was apologised to and promised my phone tomorrow the 29 October 2009 and with nio proper confirmation about this was put on hold for over 10 minutes with no help.I called Head Office to report the problem and was again put on hold for over 5 minutes. This kind of service is totally unacceptable and I must say I am totally disgusted with the service from Cell C considering the fact that all my bills to them are paid on time top the last cent.

Cell C staff is not qualified to handle the complaints
In August 2009, I made a double payment to Cell C in error. On 28.09.2009 I contacted 14302 to check my balance, was informed that the current unbilled call charges were R1140.87. Contacted Cell C customer care and spoke to Kevesh, who informed me that Cell C owed me money R25.40, when I queried the amount of R1140.87 he told me that he could not see anything on his system as the account had been 'closed' because of the double payment. On 16.10.2009, dialled 14302 again because, once again I had not received any account from Cell C, only to find out my balance is now R 1 486.58. Contacted customer care again, this time spoke to Pranalen(Kevesh was busy) who told me he could not assist with my query as it was an account query and it would have to be dealt with my credit control, however in order for them to assist, I would need to supply them with 3 month's bank staements... . Why do they have a customer care centre if the staff are not qualified to handle the complaints?

Unable to make calls
I have been struggling with my phone for ages now, thought that because I'm due for an upgrade that there's something wrong my phone, but then realised that if my calls fail or rejecting or cut off while talking it can't be my phone. I'm even unable to phone cell c from my cell phone to complain.

Cell C just does as they feel without considering the customers inconvenience
I have a contract which is on my dad's account(he has 4 on the accont), & am authorised to get infomation or make changes to the account. The account is paid by debit order on the 15th, that is until the beginning of this year when cell C decided to change the debit without informing us. We discovered the change once the lines were disconnected. I also found out that I had been removed as a contact person. they rectified the mistake & everything went well 4 a few months. THAT IS until today. I needed to make a call at 4am this morning only to find out that the lines had been barred, so I called the call center, knowing that I'm listed as a contact person. 1st the agent accussed me of the account not being paid, without even bothering to check. 2nd after checking she tells me that there seems to be no reason for the lines being barred and that the lines can be reactivated, but I'm not listed(once again) as a contact person, SO only my dad can reactivate the lines, EVEN tho there is no reason for them being disconnected in the first place. Cell C just does as they feel without considering the customers inconvienience.

Please get over yourselves and stop playing with people's lives
Cell Responded. They do not see anything on my profile and they want me to forward them 'the report!!'. Onkgopotse says. No email. No fax number. no contact number! And I must forward them the report!.
I find that this is very mischievous of Cell C and rather patronising. They would like to be seen to be a GOOD corpotrate Citizen by responding with no-brainers so that the community is FOOLED. Well, I am not fooled. My report shows that I am listed as a slow-payer for six months. That report is available to everyone! Why must I forward this report to them? I requested my credit report from ITC Transunion and it shows a BAD record, even on Experian! Now, this is information that Cell C is privy to.
Stop making me out to be STUPID. I am no fool. I am not amused. Right now, if i had to ask for Credit from CEll C, they would '..conveniently see this!!!...', but for now, they want me to suffer fools. Well, I don't. Get someone to sort this out or should I go the Ombuds' way? Fact is ' I do not owe you and have never been in arrears with my Cell C.
Cell C, please get over yourselves and stop playing with people's lives. It's not FUNNY!!!.

Their head office number makes me wait forever
I have been to Cell C shops (tyger Valley & Somerset Mall) to cancel the contract - four times in total - July & August. Cell C even disconnected the phone at the end of August. I still get billed.
Their 074 1000 nr does not work. Their head office number makes me wait forever, and then states it is the billing dept's problem- hold on (makes one waits forever again).
Cell C owes me monies for the months of Sept & October as I cancelled the contract.

It's 3 days later and i am still waiting for an reply
I called the cell c call centre to confirm that they have blackberry settings. I was told by an opperator that they do have it and I must simply call again and he will send it to my phone. The next day I went and spent R4500 on a blackberry and when I called the call centre again to get the settings sent to my phone I was told they don't have it.
After that I sent an email to the cell c customer care centre to complain. It's 3 days later and i am still waiting for an reply.

faulty account
DURING JULY 2010 CELL C CONTACTED MY HUSBAND STATING THAT HIS ACCOUNT IS IN ARREARS. THIS HAPPEND BECAUSE HE CHANGED HIS BANKING DETAILS. THEY SAIS WE MUST MAKE A CASH PAYMENT OF R870. WE WENT TO A CELL C SHOP SO THEY CHANGED THE BANKING DETAILS. THE SAME DAY WE MADE A CELL PHONE BANKING PAYMENT FROM MY CELLPHONE AND OUT OF MY ACCOUNT OF R870 AND USE HIS CELL PHONE NUMBER AS REFERENCE. THAT NIGHT THEY TOOK THE DEBIT ORDER OFF AS WELL OF R870. I STRUGGLED FOR A WHOLE MONTH TO GET THAT MONEY REFUNDED AND WAS TRANSFERED TO ALMOST 50 PEOPLE, MADE 40 CALLS AND MY BILL FOR ALL THIS CALLS ARE R445. EVENTUALLY I GOT REFUNDED BUT ONLY WITH R577. I WAS SO FEDUP STRUGGLING, ARGUING ANS EXPLAINING EVERY TIME I THOUGHT TUFF LUCK LET THEY KEEP THE OTHER R300. TO MY SURPRISED MY CELL C DEBIT ORDER WENT OFF ON 2010-09-25, WHICH IS NOT CORRECT AND ALWAYS GOES OFF AT THE END OF THE MONTH. FOR THIS THE BANK GAVE ME A PENALTY FEE OF R120 BECAUSE THEIR WERE NOT SUFFICIENT FUNDS. I PHONED CELL C ON 2010-09-26 EXPLAINING THE PROBLEM AGAIN. TO MY SURPRISE THEY TOLD ME THAT MY HUSBANDS ACCOUNT IS IN KREDIT WITH R700. BUT THAT MY ACCOUNT I OWE THEM R870. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? WE ARE BOTH ON CONTRACT WHICH IS FIXED AT R145 AND ONLY CAN BE USED IF THE BENEFITS ARE UP BY RECHARGING IT. PLEASE !!!HELP!!!MY CELL NR 0843077702 HUSBAND NO 0842612178

I hate dealing with Cell C now, because none of their staff are properly trained
My phone was stolen, I reported it to cell c, gave them a case number and sent this to them on Monday I called in for feedback the next day and they informed me they could not read the form, . I re-sent the same form to them they can now read it but I still do not have any feedback from them, no call, no reply to my mail-nothing!!!.
I called in today yet again as I have done all week, I spoke to a katlego Kagiso who asked me for my banking details-I asked why he needed my banking details to verify me he hung up on me. I then spoke to Nwabisa Skepu I told her my whole story above and she said that because I sent my form yesterday I have to wait another 24-48 hours, when I told her I had sent the same form on Monday and that cell c was late she rudely replied 'If you say so'.
I hate dealing with cell c now, because none of their staff are properly trained, they are unprofessional and incompetent I have now been without a phone for 2weeks one of those weeks spent chasing my network provider for service-I pay my premium every month and yet cell c staff always treat me with nothing but disrespect-I want my claim resolved now with some sense of urgency and then I'm cancelling.

So I am stilling waiting for these useless Cell C people to call me back. Thuto I have responded to your email with my contact details and still no response. Do u people even care about ur customers...doesnt seem like.
I work in a customer facing role and definitely do not treat them as pathetic as you guys.
