Declairing me dead without a proper deadsertificate from homeaffers
Cell C declaired me dead first without me knowing, but one day i walked in to their stores to upgrade my contract when the lady type in my ID information she looked at me and told me that i am dead on their sistemes. From there Cell C made awhole lot more mistakes but they also put me up at ITC. That i had to find out when i applied for a loan and it was decleind because of Cell C putting me up after i had pay the teir money. I later found out that it is ilegal to declair someone dead whithout a legal deadsertificate from homeaffers and it is also ilegal to put sameone up at ITC without notified them inwritting that they are concidering it. Cell C is trying to sweap all off this under the carpet but i am the one that had all the losse because off all their mistakes. i feel they must at least compensate me for all that they have done to me. but they don't think they have done anything wrong. My name is Chrisna Els And my sel phone number is 0837719684. If any one can help me i will apresiate it because it is slowly destroying my life. I had losses off over R 400 000 because of all the mistakes Cell C has made. My e-mail adress is : [email protected].

Never take out a contract with Cell C
My debit order to cell c was returned unpaid due to lack of funds. I borrowed money from a relative to pay outstanding emergency medical. She paid it into my account. One day after money was received into my account, cell c took the money out of the account on Saturday 19th of September 2009. Now I can not pay the emergency medical bill.
How did cell c know the money was there? Are debit orders not supposed to go off on the specified dates? I am furious. Cell C is the worst company to deal with in South-Africa. Never ever take out a contract with them.
I have a suspicion that cell-c add call to old numbers called to accounts. Cell phones normally only log calls for only 30 days, resulting that log info is gone by the time you get your detailed account. There is an application for symbian (nokia) phones available tinyhack com freewarelist s603rd 2007 03 02 logexport I seriously recommend users to use this utility to export logs into spreadsheet format, so that they can check their detailed accounts.

Itemized billing on non-existent contract
I had two contracts with Cell C, but ported one of them to Vodacom around 6 weeks ago. My most recent invoice from Cell C still shows the ported number, with zero call charges, but an R18.86 itemised billing charge. The call centre can't even find the contract on their system, because it no longer exists.
I was transferred to the billing accounts department but was on hold for ages. I certainly am not going to pay for the call while I am on hold so that you can fix your mistake. Please get somebody to phone me to sort this out, I require a new invoice please.

Telephone spam daily to sell me new contracts
I receive phonecalls on DAILY basis from CELL C where they tell me I have 'Qualified' for a free cellphone in an attempt to lure me into buying a contract from them. This is starting to disrupt my daily life. The calls come from an unknown number and every time i asked to be removed from their mailing list I just get more and more calls.
PLEASE REMOVE ME FROM YOUR LIST!!! I am an MTN customer, I have a contract with them for the next year and a half and I have NO intention of ever changing to CELL C.

Avoid Cell C at all costs
I am trying to port my number to MTN and was advised by MTN that I need to contact CellC as there is a technical problem on the port. I have phoned the cellc call centre twice this afternoon and have been transferred both times to the MNP department. The problem is that I have been holding on for 2 hours and there is still no answer from the MNP department. This service ***!!!

I never gave Cell C permission to bill me for phone insurance or for an email account
When I open a Cell C contract (phone marketing) I never gave Cell C permission to bill me for Phone insurance or for a email account. I cancelled the Phonesure insurence and ELIM e-mail account in July2009 and therefore any debit order that they had. However, Cell C still have the audacity to deduct the money for the above mentioned services. I have send e-mails that was read by the service provider but they never came back to me.

No response to query, still billed incorrectly
Further to complaint of Fri 11 September, I was contacted by Thuto who had no details of my contract, so not sure how he was intending to resolve the query. He promised to have the original person responding to the initial August complaint contact me no later than Monday 14 Sept. Have still not been contacted by Cell C.Should Cell C refuse to address and resolve this query I will be placing a stop order on my debit order. When someone with the initiative to resolve this query has been able to credit my account for amounts over charged and submit a correct invoice, I will make payment. So far no-one at Cell C has accepted responsiblity for resolving this. Is management even aware of the appalling customer service the very people they employ to resolve queries is delivering??? Needless to say, I will never be entering into a Cell-C contract again.

Can't access internet and cannot send mms
I am using the AG Bomshell phone that was supplied by Bayport in JHB. I can not access internet and cannot send mms and it says i have to subscribe for GPRS and no body can help me. It is not the good phone at all. I have phoned bayport and people spoken to do not know their products. For that matter i have stopped paying for this phone and now i am having a bad record cos i am not paying anymore. Other person told me that he will send people to collect it so it can be fixed, but that was never done. I have also gone to cellphone shops, but cell c and vodacom do not have the settings of this phone. It is a bad phone and Bayport cellular do not care about their customers.
