I purchased a Cell C Swift data bundle & modem in December 2010 on my credit card, despite having being shown there was coverage on their website I found the service slow and erratic if I got any connection at all. After numerous attempts to rectify the situation with various "fixes" recommended by their helpdesk a full refund was finally offered to me by Cell C, Yeah, I though, finally a cellular co. that walks it's talk & returned the unit with data card & all it's packaging on the 13th January 2011 I was told this 'just needed to be checked by their workshop". I would receive a call shortly from Cell C to get my banking details & receive the full refund, this would take a couple of days, I was told.
After numerous calls & personal visits to the store that sold me the unit, lots of wasted time & effort I am still waiting for my refund.
I am now of the opinion that I have been patient for long enough, I have been polite for long enough & I am now due the full refund as promised, the interest on the credit card charges, a reimbursement for all the calls, personal visits and time I spent on the phone to try & get the refund, come on Cell C enough is enough. Pay UP!!
