On December 12, 2009, I bought a brand new Cell Phone LG Model KS360.
Also at time of purchasing this phone your sales person said the product has one month in-store limited warranty as well as one year manufacturing limited warranty by LG Canada, so if anything will happen I can contact LG to resolve the problem.
Unfortunately the phone does not work properly in June 2010 and which I am totally disappointed from this brand and phone. The screen got black and does not show anything however the phone is working properly which means you can make and receive the phone or text except the screen is totally off and black and you have to work like a blind person.
I called LG Canada and informed the problem, they asked for the serial number and then mentioned there is no warranty coverage for this phone because this phone was purchased in Europe (which country in Europe is a question mark as well) and must be sent back to Europe with original receipt of the purchase from Europe to be able to be fixed and there is no warranty at all to cover for this phone in Canada even I told them that I bought it from Canada as well as store name.
To resolve the problem, I called the store and talked to two different store sales person and they both told me that this is my problem and I must send it to Europe for repair, this sound unreasonable and wrong, then they asked me to leave my phone number to ask store manager to call me to resolve the problem and nobody called me, after 2 days I called the store again and asked them to talk to store manager and they said he is busy and will call me back however nobody called me back and after two days they ignore response me at all.
I am totally disappointed because when I purchase this product, you hide the fact and mislead the consumer by giving the wrong information about the warranty coverage, since there is no way to fix it here in Canada under warranty.
