Late last year my wife broke the LCD on her Sony Erricson phone. On enquiring at Cell Shack Northgate we were told that they could repair it with genuine Sony parts so we booked it in. The repair took twice as long as quoted and they had replaced it with an aftermarket LCD in a non-matching matt finish. We insisted it was replaced with a genuine Sony part as that was what we were quoted for(R700) They had also broken the camera lens cover, the keyboard was not put back properly and there were marks from being prized open. A week later we collected the phone. This time it had the correct LCD, the keyboard seemed ok. Unfortunately we did not spot the still cracked lens cover but my wife was desperate to have her phone back. We left, not entirely satisfied. A few months have passed and the keyboard had now fallen completely off. We returned to the shop last weekend and were told there was nothing that could be done and we would have to phone their director Brad on 0824595447. Brad does not answer his phone. My wife now has a broken phone that Cell Shack are entirely responsible for and we want it replacing. Their repair men are unqualified amateurs and their staff are unhelpful.
