lost phone
I mislaid my phone recently and I have been trying to blacklist my number. my number was rica'd when the law was passed.I have tried on many occassions to blacklist but with no success. The opperators on the other end want to know what is the last 5numbers that you dialled, how much of airtime you have, when was the last time you rechard, and how much did you recharge with .

Unreliable
I called CellC 6 x yesterday 1st June 2011 and got no futher than the switchboard; Tried again 3x today and the same thing happend. I was told that SWB operators have no idea whether the person I'm being transfered to is available nor whether they answered.
I settled 2 accounts June 2010 and was promised that my profile would be updated on the credit bureaus, and almost 1 year later nothing has happend.

Cancelled contract - still being billed
After determining a device obtained on contract from cellc the item was returned in line with their well known returns policy. The store clark with no training indicated no paper work is required to cancel (Wynand cellc Brooklyn), and that when canellation has been submitted to head office, that I would be alerted via e-mail. Time came and gone and to date no notification.
Then I was billed on 29-04-2011 for a product a cancelled more than a month ago. I raised complaints at the store and head office. The shop responded only after I had to call 7 times to speak with the manager. Patience then assited me and tried to rectify the mess the previous incompetent had left. She could see I canceled the item on March 20 2011, and submitted the canellation paper work to head office.
She assured me it was cancelled.
On May 28 2011 I see another debit from incompetent corporation (cellc). Whole new investigation and trying to get answers from non existing managers. A JJ Van Zyl got copied in, and although helpful at first, turned out to be uninformed, arrogant and right up cellc's alley with regards to integrity, customer satisfaction and self pride.
Here I am 3 months after cancelling a piece of crap, having returned the product to INcompotent Corporation, and still being billed for something that I don't own.

Migrating my contract
I have been calling the call centre every week for the past 4 months. I am trying to do a migration to a package i was previously on. I get told that i will be contacted by the credit department within 48hrs. I call in every week. I don not receive any calls back from cellc. My bill is now over R2000 A month. I have not paid my last bill and will not. Cell c has to compensate me for the past 4 months. Will only pay when cell c contacts me regarding this matter.

ek sukkel al meer as n jaar en n half met netwerk probleme en dienste verskaffings probleme met cellc. ek het al verskeie saaknommers en elke keer se hul die saak is opgelos. en dan het niemand my eers geskakel ivm die probleem nie. ek het al met supervisors gepraat. Eks tans besig met n Bheki van JHb. die man is so ongeskik geen mens kan iets uit hom kry nie. elke keer is dit dieselle probleem met dieselle oplossings. maak hul nie aantekeninge nie of hoe werk daardie mense? as die agent jou nie kan help nie dan sit hul eenvoudig die foon in jouoor neer en skakel jy terug kan jy maak wat jy wil jy kry nie weer daardie persoon in die hande nie. Cellc is vinnig om beloftes te maak en kontrakte aan jou af te smeer, maar die diens daarna is pateties. ek het al meer as een keer n noodgeval gehad waar ek die ambulans en polisie moes ontbied het wat ek nie kon nie want my sel se connection error. een van die noodgevalle was toe my man in motorfiets ongeluk was. die ander was ook met ongelukke en toe hul by my woning probeer inbreek het terwyl my man nagskof gewerk het. so wat help dit ek het n sel wat nie werk nie? cellc wil nie dat ek my kontrak kanselleer sonder penalties nie. wys jou net cellc is nie baie waffers nie. en om nie eers van trevor noah te praat nie. ek het al verskeie klagtes by hom ook gele niks gebeur nie. so nou vra ek jul, waar gaan ek eindig?

Contract expired
My Cell C contract has expired and cell C is still devbiting my account I called them and thye gave me the ref number for cancelations but they are still debiting. I tried calling and I got no joy out of them. I will never use cell c or advise my friends to use them. People are not ding their jobs.

money taken from acc after contract cancelled
I cancelled my contract on 4th aug, my airtime was uploaded on the 15th as usual and money taken from my acc at the end of month.The end of sept another payment was taken from my acc but I wasn't given any airtime.I have spent hours on the phone and in their shops, I've sent numerous emails to no avail, yes they have admitted they should have either given me my airtime in sept or not taken a payment, but, still refuse to do anything about it.This as far as I'm concerned is theft pure and simple, I wouldn't think I'm the only one of their customers this has happened to, imagine how much money they are making from this scam it must amount to millions!!I wont give up though if only for the poor customers who don't have the time to spend on the phone etc., fortunately, being retired, I do.I suppose they just think eventually you'll go away.Shame on you cellc for stealing from people, we have to work hard for our money.

Hi My Name is Reshma Haripersadh and I called in and repoted that both their collections dept POLOSA and Cell C deducted monies from my account, Cell C admitted that they were wrong and that they will refund me the amount that they mistakely deducted. They asked for me to e-mail my bank statement as proof so I did to [Hidden Web Address] date no refund or response, I am totally disgusted. What kind of Customer service is this?

Making up their own rules - Ignoring Contract
I requested to Migrate from an expensive package to a cheaper top up package to control my usage myself as they're not allways on line to get balances. They refused! Said i must wait 6 months - i migrated iN April 2010 and they are only willing to migrate me in October 2010. I emailed them my contract -as they didn't even have it - which clearly does not state Migration terms. They refused and said it's business rules. That's rubbish! They can not do what they want when they want and then call it business rules. Why on earth do i sign a contract then if they can do anything they want.
