I purchased a Grant Cd for 2.95 and got more. This company charged me 39.95 for what? This was a 'service' I did not order or request. They also pegged on an extra 7.95 and 9.95 for what? Who knows. I was able to call and they gave me an authorization code and said they were only able to issue one courtesy refund. These charges are monthly but for what?!

Beware of small print under the order forms. I simply ordered a grant cd and got charged for much more. Charged for 'services' I didn't order or want. Be careful! Thank you for this site, I found the power and the phone number to take care of my grievance! I will be checking my account to see if they really do give me a refund.

These companies are charging my debit card or checking account without authorization. It seems that the only way to get them to stop is to actually close the account and open another account. It is a scam and if you are not paying close attention to your account charges, you could be loosing a lot of money to companies like this and it is stealing.

I agreed to pay for only the free cd shipping ($2.29) that was charged to my account in December. I have now had an additional $39.95 charged to my January 2009 credit card statement. How do we resolve this issue?

On 12-19-08 i ordered the "FREE" cd that had $2.29 shipping. When i rcvd that cd on 1-5-09 I was looking thru my credit card statements and they had charged me another $39.95, 8 days after i purchased on 12-27-08. I never authorized any more charges and nothing was ever said or mentioned about any type of trial period or temporary anything. They illegally debited $39.95 from my credit card account. On 1-8-09 i called the Center4Grants phone # (1-800-479-0979) and told them i never ordered anything else, the lady @ the Center4Grants told me i was also signed up for some kind of express business deal that was going to start charging me too. BE WARE!!! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!! IT KEEPS ESCALATING TIL THEY HAVE ALL YOUR MONEY!!! The lady did say they would see what they could do. I then called my credit card company and told them the whole story, (Capital One, # 1-800-955-7070), they graciously started a dispute for me and refunded my money til the charges were cleared and banned this web site from ever debiting my credit card again. Kudos to Capital One for swift action and recognizung the scam.
ONCE AGAIN DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM CENTER4GRANTS!! Even after you have the cd then it finally tells you that if you want to do anything then they will charge you, the $2.29 cd is just a glimpse of what you could get but you have to pay for everything after that. Do your research andf find the true FREE web sites that have grants. thanks, hope this helps you from wasting your time and money.

i gave permission to take $2.29 off my debit card on november 17, 2008. i did not give permission to take out of my account on november the 25th 2008 of $39.95 ! then u took out again another $39.95 on december 24th 2008. My husband and i want our money back!!! We contacted once again to stop taking our money and yet u r still withdrawing out of our account!!! WE WANT OUR MONEY BACK!!!
