Based on my experience with the company, and my experience alone, I can not come to any other conclusion, because it’s the only thing I’ve been shown. Now who do I complain to? Center Point? They do not care, and refuse to let you talk to supervisors on the phone. This is an account of my experience with Center Point energy. I feel I was treated very unfairly, to the point where I was being laughed at and toyed with by a company who the employees I dealt with, acted without any impunity, or even a reasonable code of ethics or standards toward me, their customer.
Center point Energy disconnected my Natural Gas service at my home Monday 6/29/2010.
I was out of town when they mailed my billing statement, but when I got home and check my mails, I saw my bill and I called their customer service to pay my bill, their personnel was around my vicinity to disconnect my gas services. I told them I going to pay the bill in the amount of $35.09, but they refused & continue their disconnection order. I was told that if I want my gas turn back on, I will pay $167. They don't have consideration for their customer. They want us to pay more for their services. They don't care about my issues. Paying $167 for gas bill was not fair, Its our grocery money, they are like thieves. I wish those executives & supervisors will refund my money. They are doing a bad business. Shame on them.
