I have tried for 3 days to get help. So far, NO ONE is interested in helping. I purchased a central air and heating unit for my home in August 2009. I also purchased the maintenance agreement. I was told that I would receive a copy of the warranty, the maintenance agreement, and the TAX CREDIT statement by postal mail. I did get the survey (and completed and returned it, as I was very pleased with the contractor who did the work). I called customer service and wrote FLORIDA - NO RESPONSE. I called the local store and got a number for customer service. I got hung up on and called the local store back. I was told there was NO store manager on duty, but suddenly, one "appeared" on the phone - said he closes tonight and that was why he was just now coming on duty. He said the store has no obligation or responsibility regarding my complaint and I should contact customer service. Apparently the phone had a problem as I then got a dial tone. ANYWAY, I am sending this to CORPORATE but doubt they care anymore than SEARS folks locally.
It has been noted that the number to call is 847-286-2500 and the lady who answers is rude and WILL NOT transfer complaints to W Bruce Johnson, who is supposed to be the one to talk to about these matters.

Appears Sears is more interested in selling and getting money and sending jobs overseas than in customer service or customer satisfaction. I will try to contact Mr. Johnson at a later date, if I do not get a response from this inquiry.
