Central Coast Neutraceuticals Reviews

thieves
Stay away from these people. The only way to stop them from billing you every month is to close your credit account. They are a complete scam. You believe that you are getting a trial offer and they bill you monthly. You cannot get them on the phone. They return no money. BEWARE.

Unauthorized billing
As has happened to many others i ordered the 'free' samples on line. Now i am continually being charged for different amounts varying from $39 to $45 dollars. I have no idea how to stop them and the company has a recording on their 888 number that offers help but only if you are willing to hold for up to 45 minutes. Please do not order and if you have and have been successful in getting a refund, i would appreciate knowing how.

What the heck...I didn't order anything from these people. I'm calling the state of Florida and filing a complaint as well.

Acaipure
I purchased a trial for 1.99 on line and 41.85 was taken from my checking account and now on 11/1/08, I see a 39.95 deducted from my account. I want my monies returned to my account or a check mailed to me at :

Overcharged Credit Card
This company gets your credit card number and instead of charging just the authorized $2.95, they send you additional products you didn't order and charge you over $42.00. Then, if you complain to them, they make you pay to send back the product you never ordered if you want a refund. I still haven't received my refund and I sent my unordered products back ten days ago. Do not do business with them. The Better Business Bureau of Largo isn't taking any more complaints against them because they won't respond to the Bureau on pending complaints.

Fraudulent Charges
Central Coast Neutraceuticals

After received numerous emails from Central Coast Neutraceuticals on September 2, 2008 I decided to finally order the AcaiPure capsules. It was only $4.95 for shipping and handling after all, for the trial. If I didn't like it, I could return it within the 30 days. I received the bottle, but didn't open it, as I am allergic to fennel, which is an ingredient. I returned the shipment the next day, and tried calling to cancel, well within the 30 day period. I was unable to get through to anyone and sent an email to their customer service, and received a reply that my account was cancelled. While checking my statement today, I noticed two charges from Central Coast Neutraceuticals. One was from Sept. 22 and was for $39.95 and the other was from October 8 and was for $44.90. I was furious, as I had the email confirming cancellation, so I called the company to question why I received these charges. I spoke with a man who was quite possibly the rudest, most condescending man I have ever spoken to in my life. He began by basically telling me I didn't cancel, there was no record of me cancelling and I was a liar. I have a 15 month old daughter, who was fussing while I was on the phone, and so I had to speak louder so he could hear me, and he told me to stop yelling at him. I told him I wasn't, couldn't he hear her? He said yes, and told me to get her to shut up if I wanted help. Nobody tells me to get my daughter to shut up, and I expressed just that. He began belittling me, telling me I was several unsavory names, I was just trying to "milk the system" and he wasn't going to help me. At this point I was quite upset and told him he had no business speaking to me that way, I was trying to get the charges cleared and my daughter was being fussy because she is sick. He ended the conversation telling me I was lucky he listened that long and good luck getting a refund since he was making notes on my account to this effect. He then hung up on me. I called back and reached a wonderful woman named Jessi, who apologized profusely, telling me that their conversations are recorded and he would be dealt with. She then actually HELPED ME by telling me that they hadn't cancelled my account, but she cancelled it then, and the charges were from the first bottle they hadn't received (I have a tracking number, and will track it down) and they had sent a second bottle, but she would take the charges of as soon as I sent it back and would take the other charges off for the other bottle as soon as I supply the tracking number. I won't have to pay the restocking fees, either. Thank you, Jessi for all your help.
For everyone's benefit, I began this with the number I called which was on my credit card statement and was able to get through right away both times. I noticed that many others had problems before with their customer service number, and am not sure if this one is different than others, but I called at 7pm EST and it worked. Good luck to everyone with this number.

Scam
I ordered a free trial sample for $1.00 + $4.95 and they sent gum ($9.96) and pills ($29.95), $44.85 in all. They say you can return it if you call them for authorization but they do not answer they phone. The return offer is valid for only 14 days but the date on the shipping envelope was 3 weeks BEFORE I received it. Need to email them to stop shipping/charging your card or you will contest the additional charges. READ THE FINE PRINT ... I will next time!

Scam
Sent for free trail for Acaipure only. Shipping only $4.85 to be charged. Received Hootia Gum $9.99, Acai Pure, and Botlle of Hoodia Water $29.95. Charged totaal. $44.85. Company does not answer phone. Sent RMA # thru e-mail. Returned product unopened. Second charge showed up on my card after they received the package back. Now I have to dispute this each month on my credit card until they respond which theywon't. Next step is to cancel my credit card.
