internet fraud
I ordered acai pure product sample online on 11/12/08 for $4.95 and this company credited from my bank acct for $44.95 two days later. The sample wasnt even in my hands when I discovered they had extracted the $44.95! I tried contacting their support email address and their phone number played recorded messages and music which made it very difficult trying to contact them. Finally after continually calling late in the evenings trying to get through I did manage to get an address in Largo, Florida. I wrote a letter to that address hoping to get a RMA # which was needed in order to return their products for a future refund. They never responded. I tried support many numerous times and finally did receive a RMA# and sent a letter of refund request along with the products and havent heard from them. It took me from November of 2008 up to February 3, 2009 trying to get their products returned to them so I could get my $44.95 back. I'm sure their argument is by now that they dont owe the full $44.95 refund because of a disclaimer on their bill receipt regarding a time-sentitive restocking fee of 15% of any returned products. I told them in my last letter if 2/1/09 that I had returned their products as instructed and if I didnt hear from them that I would take this to the next level and this is my way of doing absolutely taking it to that point. By the way, I never even received the sample of their product. I do believe that there are "partner companies" involved in all of this and they are switching off in some way to prevent from getting caught.

Unauthorized billing
I placed an order 11/13/08 for free trial/cost shipping 4.95. When I saw no invoice showing this, I immediately tried to call them and reached a recording telling me I would have to wait 61 minutes in order to talk with anyone. I then sent them an email canceling my order. This all occurred within several minutes of placing the order.

They never responded to my cancellation and approximately 2 weeks later I received a package which I never opened but immediately mailed back to them by USPS. They also billed me $44.85 on 11/13/08 and again billed me $39.95 on 1/2/09. They are disreputable people, in business to cheat people and should be reported to the BBB. I have lodged a dispute with my credit card company which can take up to 8 weeks to resolve.

Unauthorized billing
I order from the web, canceled through emails before 14 day trial period ended, got charged $44.95. Fine I ordered on 11/04/08 but did not receive product until 11/10/08. On 11/19-20 tried to cancel no luck reaching this company. On the 11/21/08 emailed them about canceling the product we emailed back and forth until 12/02/08. They offered me a credit of $20.00 & keep the product do not return. They sent me an email stating that they were sorry I wanted to cancel, with this message. 'There is no need to respond to this message if you would still like your account canceled. This email is your cancellation confirmation. (dated 12/02/08 @1:56pm). Then why do I have a charge of 39.95 on 01/21/09 and overdraft fees from my bank. I called them raving mad, they said that the order had been processed prior to my cancellation, and that they have no control of the US postal service. R U Kidding they are blaming the postal service for a delivery of over 45 days. Then I get a supervisor to say that this is a bottle they charged me for that they had pending because of insufficient funds in my account, mind you this was after cancellation.

Fraudulent Charges
This company is a complete scam. I ordered a $1 trial product and have received 6 additional charges for items that i have no knowledge of. i've tried to call and cancel and reach resolution but impossible. After hours on hold - got a snotty kid 'Kelly" one time and "Kevin" the next who acted like I was the one ripping them off. Obviously the owners get these young kids to do their bidding. I want a complete refund. of all the various charges. How do i go about doing that?
thanks

Ordered from them and have not received anything. Was charged more than I was authorized. Cannot get a hold of them so I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I recommend every one else take some action against them as well. They use fraudulent selling practices and have to pay for what they are doing.

I received an email on the product acai pure and how Oprah recommends this product and you can order a free trial for the price of shipping, I tried to close out of the email when a box appeared and said that Tiffany a rep wanted to talk to me (it would not let me close out) I told the rep I was not interested in the product because it took 3 months to see results she kept coming back with you can try the product for 1.95 in shipping (they cut the shipping costs) finally after saying no thank you and her over and over I gave in I thought for 1.95 what am I out. I went into my bank on the computer right after giving my information and noticed that they charged my bank 41.95 not 1.95 for the free trial. I tried calling the toll free number right away and of course nothing, no I decided to write an email and of course my email could not go thru due to a problem with the email address, it was the address they gave in their add. So I looked up they company on the internet and got what was suppose to be a phone number it is even highlighted and it turns out to be a fax number (1-800-692-8352). I feel like such a fool with all this internet scamming going on I fell right in the trap. I have tried every way possible to get a hold of they according to their add with no luck.

This company offers a trial offer of both ACAIPURE and COLOPURE for S&H costs. Once they get your credit card number, they ship you a shipment (which should last a month) at least every two weeks and bill your credit card for the product and shipping. One cannot reach them by phone due to the 'excess interest in their product' and expect a waiting period 'of seventy-five minutes' according to their message.

However after about twenty minutes you lose the phone connection that you had while waiting. Thus, the only alternative is for one to press their credit card company to withhold any future billings from this company. It may even be required that one cancel their credit card in order to get out from under this multiple billings and shipments that one would like to have canceled.

ACAIPURE
Unfortunately I was victimized as well. I did receive the product from the initial 'order', which was supposed to be free with the exception of shipping which was $3.95. However, I was charged an additional $39.95 a month later when I received my monthy credit card plus 44.90 for another shipment for which did not receive. I called the company only to receive a recording stating the wait time was 55 minutes I was on hold for 45 minutes and got disconnected and had to restart the process. Since this company is clearly a scam I called my bank about my credit card to get these credited off of my account. The bank gave a temporary credit for these charges and in the process resolving this issue.

I signed up for a 'free trial' just pay shipping of $4.95. Well, they charged my account $38.95 for one product and $39.95 for another product.

So, on 11-26-08, I wrote them to cancel my membership and they offered me a reduction in price if I stayed on. I said no. And they said there will no more shipments. But 12-8-08 they took another $38.95 and another $39.95.

I have all the emails to back this up.
