Complete rip off
I wish that I had read about this website and/or product prior to ordering. If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. I ordered the product for the supposed 4.95 shipping charge and after ordering and not receiving the product in a timely manner, my card was charged for $44.95, NOT $4.95. I called and cancelled the product, called my credit card company with a dispute and when the product FINALLY came in -- I marked return to sender and gave it to the postman to return to this shady company. I even cancelled my card because a lot of the complaints stated that they were charged additionally. I received a letter from my credit card company on January 23, 2009 stating that my dispute was resolved and nothing further needed to be done by me. Yesterday, I received an email from a Ryan Williams telling me I owed the $39.95 for these products because "I should have opened the product to obtain the information about properly returning the product." Since I did not, he stated that I am liable for this amount and that if I don't pay it today it will be sent to collection through his supervisor. I explained the timeline to him and his response was that there were 2 yellow boxes that I checked (I guess I did it without knowing) and that I "ordered" hoodia water and some other product that I most certainly wouldn't have ordered. He had me go through the process on the website to show me and when the two yellow boxes didn't appear, he directed me to another one of their products at colopure.com to show me the 2 yellow boxes. I told him that I was not paying for something I cancelled (he stated he did not see my cancellation in his "call notes" and so to him I didn't cancel the product and still owe it. I told him that was absurd and that his company is acting fraudulently and he stated that if I didn't pay the $39.95 by next Friday, he would have to turn it over to his supervisor, Kevin Harper. I asked to speak to Kevin Harper who shockingly wasn't in the office today and Ryan stated that I wouldn't want to talk to Kevin because he is not as nice to people as Ryan. Ryan further told me that my dispute with my credit card company was denied. I pulled out the letter telling me that it was resolved and closed and he told me that I needed to recheck with them because my dispute was denied and that I owed the money. It's absurd! The call concluded with Ryan telling me that his call was out of courtesy to resolve the matter.

Please beware of this company
Please beware of this company-read the online instructions very carefully and do not sign up for the Lifestyle Program as your credit card will be hit with large bills every month-try to get in touch with the company to cancell and you meet obstacles on every front. They don't answer the phone-they don't respond online-you are stuck. Do not try to work with your credit card company-because they will do nothing.

Please warn unsuspecting people of this company scam
This company should be run out of business. I went online for the free trial offer pay only $4.95 shipping. What a crock. My credit card was billed the same day for a charge of $44.90 for my signing up for a Lifestyle Program. I did not sign for this--but they sure billed my credit card. I tried for days to contact the company--could not reach them to cancell. It referred me to a website called getorderhelp.com. I went online and received a number to use when returning the product. I contacted my credit card company to try to stop them from hitting me card. Useless. They would not help me. I went to disputing the charges. The company sent lies back to the credit card company-saying I never tried to cancell or did not return product. I am so disgusted. Please warn unsuspecitn people of this company scam.

$39.95 will not be refunded under any circumstance
I agreed to what I thought was a 14-day free trail where I only paid shipping. I canceled the order within the first week. I DID NOT SEE THE SMALL PRINT on the web site showing terms and conditions to be that there was a charge of $39.95 if I didn't return the bottle within 14 days. By the time the charge showed up on my credit card (second billing cycle after the order and cancellation)the 14 days were up. When I called Central Coast Nutraceuticals customer service it was obvious that I am one of many who have been scammed. The young woman was reading her responses to every statement I made. Although she agreed that I had canceled immediately the $39.95 was not going to be refunded under any circumstance. In my opinion this company is out to get your money. If only one person decides to sidestep the situation I find myself in, it will be worth my effort in posting these comments. It's the only satisfaction I am getting for my $39.95!

Do not order from those rip offs
I ordered the crap and paid $1.95. They said I was the millionth customer and would receive a free gift if they could just get my address AGAIN. NEVER got the free gift. I didn't get my acaipure until 30 days or more later but I was charged during the "TRIAL" period. I called and canceled before I got the bottle but still somehow got charged $39.95. I never took one pill, it's still unopened. I'm so mad right now I could burn down their headquarters. It's May but I went through my chking acct. and saw the charge which was in February so you KNOOOOOW I'm HOT! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. RIP OFFS!

Unauthorized charges
I ordered a free sample of colotox and paid the shipping. Then I was chargecd $29;95 for a fitness program on line that I never ordered. Thankfully they refunded that charge as soon as I called them.
But two days later, I was charged $39.95 for colotox product I never ordered or received. I want an immediate refund and no further false orders or communication from this company or any affiliate companies.

Unauthorized charges
Please read the fine print when getting your free offer from this company. You will be charged after 14 days and every month after for this product and it is about $80.00 each time until you call and wait on line for sometimes an hour to cancel your account. If you try to just send back the product unopened, they will not refund your money. One of the biggest scams out there.

Scam billing
Please read if you want to get a refund and cancel your membership from Central Coast Nutraceuticals. I Finally got my Refund. Let me tell you what I did. I would like to try to help all of those who are unable to contact the company for their refund. First I should say that I placed the order and only paid $1.00 for colotox. Then I received the bill and the product in the mail and they charged me for two other products I never ordered. My total balance came out to about $40.00. I tried calling sooooo many times with no answer. I left nasty messages threatening them I was going to the police station to file a report and I was also going to BBB and I had sent them probably about 10 emails threatening the same things. I finally got two email replies back. Oh and by the way I had to cancel my debt card and get a new one because in the billing statement that I recieved in the mail they said they were going to charge my card monthly for a monthly membership. So with that said, I received two email resplies. The first stated that I was not able to get a refund until I returned the products with a return code or number. So I had to write another email to get the return number. Fianlly someone got back to me the second time and I got the number, I returned the two products I did not order and wrote a letter in the package explaining that I wanted to cancel my membership and receive a full refund less the $1.00 because I kept the colotox product. After a month or so I finally got my full refund of about $40.00. So my advice is don't give up and threaten, threaten, threaten as much as you can. Someone will see your emails and listen to your messages. I would just to be safe cancel the card you used and get a new one. I just told them that I lost the card and I needed to get a card with a new number issued to me. It only took about 4 days to get the new cards from my bank. I will never try to product because if it's like their company I could only imagine what it will do to my insides.
