My husband ordered a free sample of Hoodiburst Gum from Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc. He was only supposed to pay for shipping. The box comes in the mail and there are two other products in the box that he didn't order and his credit card got billed for all of this. He sent an email to the company asking to speak to someone in customer service and got back a computer answer that they would contact him within 48 hours. Nothing happened. I tried calling but wasn't allowed to leave a message. I emailed them and got the same computer response and again, nothing happened. I tried calling several times and gave up -- either was put on hold for too long or got disconnected. Finally got through to someone who told me it was my husband's fault that he got the additional products and was billed for them. I said we wanted to cancel the order and she gave me a return merchandise # and said we would be refunded our money when they received the product back. I then went online and read some of the other complaints about this company, including the fact that they charge a handling/restock fee on returns. I've been trying to call them back for several days -- today the voicemail message said my call would be answered in 48 minutes! Unbelievable! We don't want these products and I don't like the way they operate. Even more unbelievable is after my call to their customer service person our credit card got billed again!! What a rip-off. I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.
