Lousy jobs and no after sale services
We were so happy to purchase a new home from Century Grove Home a year ago. Before closing and after the PDI done, some jobs were still left behind. Our hardwood floor was damaged by the contractors.
Because that was damage after the PDI, so the site supervisor said we still can put that in the 30 day form. But when we do it on the 30 day form, now the builder said not going to repair the floor damage for us due to we didn’t put that in the PDI initially. It could be damage by us.
We didn’t move in for 3 months after the closing. They just try to escape for the cost of the repair. For the outstanding items on the PDI, they didn’t come to fix. when I follow up with them, they just said the items were expired – not to fix.
Now already close to the end of the 30 day form due date. but they still not come to fix the outstanding items on the 30 day form for us again. Every time I left them a messages and sent emails with no responses at all.
Even I had been told do not follow up by the customer care, it will be in priority sequence. But nobody had called us for the appointments at all.
The fireplace suppose has to complete the inspection before the PDI, but they didn’t pass it and handed over to me. Now Enbridge charged for the 2nd inspection done. I have to paid for the cost of $65 plus tax.
when the construction site workers were doing the curb on the street, they broke my window and screen. The builder exchanged a defected window with no screen for us. We have complained so many times. We couldn’t open the window with the defected window and no screen. but they do not respond to us.
Our basement cold cellar is leaking during the thunderstorms. I have reported the emergency to the customer care to ask them please send someone to fix the gap which didn’t sealed initially by the contractor in the front porch and the wall. ( we have found out the problem for them also). up to now, They still no action at all. We are totally been ignored by the customer care.
We still have so many small things need to be complain about Century Grove Homes. You always can’t find people working at their office. and you have nowhere to complain your issues. We are so unsatisfied with them.
