Century Link, may well be the missing link between ignorance and failure. I was prepared to become a life long customer with new home.
Tech leaves my home with dial tone in only one room and says he is out of modems ! !...I call to complain and am told it will be 75.00 for first 15 minutes to 'check', not fix problem. They say i should have bought the insurance on inside lines ! ! !...as if you need insurance for initial setup !!
So i cancel and cut line...get bill...call again...this time they say ' i will try to get someone out to fix free of charge'...'will call and let you know'...no call back...i have now cancelled and have order # to confirm disconnect ...hip hip hooray ! ! ! ! ...un... frigginn...believable >
How in the name of hell and babylon can a company stay in business like that ???
I have emailed EmbarqJoey ( whom i read about here) and will let you guys know if Joey is the only one there who is smarter than a fifth grader ! !
