Was told by Wal-Mart that they could not cash my payroll check because certegy check systems said that my SSN didn't match my Name. When I called certegy OF COURSE nobody was there only a computer generated voice. My name has been the same for the past ten years. My advice to any one who uses certergy check systems is to quit paying them for false information. went to another Competer of Wal-mart and they cashed my check with no problem. Word to the wise, watch cashing anything at Wal-mart!

Today 01/07/11 I went to cash my paycheck at walmart, which is the same place I have been cashing my check at for the last 2yrs. Only this time my check was denied cashing due to Reason#2 from a company named Certegy Check Services. I have never experienced anything like this and was highly embarrassed. When I called the number given to contact Certegy, the automated svc didnt give me much other than it wasnt a fault of my own however I didnt meet the check cashing critieria. What type of BS is that? Okay so now my daughter has NO LUNCH MONEY and I HAVE NO BUS FARE to get to work this morning. UGH!!! Who the hell is this company and what is the purpose of humilianting people that has done nothing wrong.

I am a disabled single mom and I went into Walmart to cash my child support money orders to pick up some things that child needed. I had more than one to cash but it only totaled $349. They would only cash one for $100.

When I first had my ex change over to the Money Grams at Walmart from Western Union, I had no problem cashing how ever many I had and at no charge to me. Then they put a $1 fee per money order on getting them cashed but I could still get them all cashed. Now they will only let you cash one per week and I guess Certegy gets to pick out which one and the amount they will cash. ITS MY MONEY AND I SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET ALL OF IT WHEN I NEED IT!!!

Money Orders are now considered checks even though you have to pay out the money upfront to buy one + a fee, now you cant cash them and there is a fee now to cash them when you can. And the people who work at Certegy DO NOT CARE!!!

I have a child to take care of and Certegy and Western Union are legalized crooks. Western Union wont even cash their own money orders anymore.

i have been cashing my pay check at walmart for the pass 3years, my check is always for the same amont of 375.00 every monday. well actually the check is issue from my father, for the reason of my disablities, so he my finanical advisor so to speak, the money comes from my s.s.a &s.s.i checks, he recieves my checks and sends me enough to live on for me and my son, every monday, i go to walmart by cab, since i cant drive, and cash my check and do my weekly shopping, since im mostly homebound, than on may 24 they cashed my check as always and that week coming being memorial day i recieved my ususal monday check 2 days early, so on may 28th i took my 20 cab ride thats both ways $10 each and all of a sudden they wont cash my check and handed me this paper with that phone number of certegy checks, well i called and after 30min on the phone, this man said all i can tell you is that that check is to close to their montioring, i could believe this that we are be monitor and for way, his answer was the check is good and you can cash it anywhere but walmart anywhere that doesnt use our check services, i said so i can never cash my checks at walmart any more his replie, , get this, no mama just not that check, you can cash your next monday checks like always, i was angry and scared for one i didnt know where else to go and second who is going to pay the nice cab driver. by the time we found another check cashing place i was far from home and my bill for the cab ride was $65;00, and i couldnt do my weekly shopping for food, ok now monday the monday the man said there would no problem well guess what, cant guess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y employees went to Walmart to cash their checks, and even though Certegy affirmed that the check was good and there were funds, it was still declined because of the patterns. I think this is absolutely crazy, how can you be denying good checks! These employees go there every week and all of a sudden our patterns are different, that's ridiculous, our checks are bank made, so i don't think our bank would run bad checks. Certegy is a scam, and Walmart should take them off!!! They're trying to show Walmart that they are doing a good job by denying these checks, but if Walmart's smart, they should get rid of Certegy, if not they are going to lose alot of customers.
