Stop Contract
I have tried repeadly tried to call several nembers that are listed to cancel the shipment of any products connected with this program and get no responce. I haved recieved two shipments of there products over one hundred sixty and can't stop them from my atm card. Please help!!! Thx Dennis Costa

would not let me cancel
I saw ad for ACAI and it said try for free just pay shipping and handling of 2.95...The product made my kidneys hurt so I called to cancel further shipments and was told I would have to pay 69.95 for the product I already had that was suppose to be a tril offer, and you only had to pay the shipping and handling of 2.95...I feel that this has been a rip off and I intend to file a complaint with the B.B.B.

charges on credit card
Certified Acai offers a risk free trial for their product. What they don't tell you is that after 15 days if you don't call them and tell them whether you are satisfied with the product or not they go into your account and withdraw 64.95 for that risk free bottle you ordered. They do not send you an email stating they withdrew money. They waited 2 weeks after the 15 days before they went in and took the money. Making it so I was unable to catch them before it happened. As for the product I bought it for my mother and wasn't trying it myself.
They are a rip off and I want to warn anyone considering their trial to stay away.

believing it to be a scam
I too signed up for a free trail of Certified Acai that came with a free trial to Live Lean For life. As soon as I did it I realized my mistake, and on the advice of an attorney friend canceled my credit card account the same night. The credit card had been charged the $2.95 for shipping. No problem with that.
I called Certified Acia to cancel my account and was told I couldn’t cancel until I returned the product.
Here is an excerpt from their Terms and Conditions:
Certified Acai Trial
. You may cancel your membership at any time by simply contacting customer service.

No where does it state that you have to return the product. I followed the terms and conditions and made the call.
As mentioned above they said I had to return the product. As of this writing I have not received the product.
It will be a cold day in hell before they get another cent from me, collection agent or not.

no refunds even if you return the product
Certified Acai advertisements are misleading. The website states that if you return the product unused and contact the company you will be refunded. This is not the case. There are 3 different contact phone numbers. None of them work. I tried to call many times only to be automatically connected to a hold- answering service. I was on hold for over an hour each time and never spoke to a human being.
The website has a customer complaints email address that automatically responds. I did receive an RMA return number from this and I returned the products only to keep seeing charges on my cc statement!
I called again and finally spoke to a human being who was absolutely no help. He did managed top cancel my account but will not issue any refunds no matter what. All of the employees are instructed not to give out their last names or their manager names OR the call center.
The whole organization is fraudent in their advertising and the customer service.
Stay far, far away from Certified Acai.

receipt of product
I made the mistake of ordering a trial of this product with only a shipping charge. Fortunately I had printed off the receipt for my payment which included a phone number to cancel. When I realized my mistake I telephoned the company and was told I couldn't cancel until I received the product. So I called back and told them I had received the product and wanted to cancel. I was put on hold for about 5 minutes while they supposedly looked up my information. The salesperson then came back on the line and said they could offer me a 25% discount. I said what part of cancel didn't you understand? She then said she would have to put me on hold to look up my information. I was put on hold at least 3 more times while they "looked up" my information. The call took a total of 45 minutes, but I finally got her to agree that they would not charge my credit card and I was given an RMA number to send back with the product. The RMA number has to be on the invoice and on the outside of the package, so I can't just write refused on the package and will have to pay for shipping--needless to say with shipping confirmation. I suspect all those times on hold were intended to make me give up so they could say I never cancelled.
I now have an email from them saying that they won't charge my credit card.

didn't sent product in trial period, and un-authorized charges
They advertised for a 15-day risk free trial. But, they did not send the product before the end of the trial period, and charged 2 un-authorised transactions of $24.95 and $64.95 before I even received my trial product. When I called their customer service, they says it is 15-day trial from the date of the order not from the shipping time!! Complete scam..

Fraudulent charges
I called the number provided to cancel this product during the trial period, though I had only received the Acai capsules three days prior. I was coerced into extending the trial period until the 30th of the month. I called on the 26th to confirm cancellation and was told that and the two diet and cleanse products were ALL canceled. On the 2nd of the following month I see charges for the product on my bank acct. so again called and called. Finally I get through to a person and was told NO REFUND can be given because it is now past the trial period.
WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP!! These on-line trials are all like a BAIT AND SWITCH scam. Join me in writing to their Corp Office at PO 17855, Portland MN 04112 and to the BBB. This nightmare with TRIAL PERIODS has to stop. The world is tough enough without being subject to fraudulent charges and misinformation being given to get you hooked the reamed.
Enough voices will put these kind of practices out of practice!
CONSUMERS MUST STAND TOGETHER TO PUT A STOP TO THESE BUSINESS PRACTICES.

No Risk Free Trial!!!
This company is a scam. Not only do they give you a very small window in which to cancel, you must also RETURN the product in order to not be billed the $64.95 for the "Risk Free Trial" supply. I spoke with 3 different customer service reps within my trial period about canceling this product, one of which was the "customer service manager", Michael. They told me I should read their Terms and Conditions concerning returning the product or being charged. However, NO WHERE do these state that you will have to return the product in order to not be billed for it. One of the reps and the customer service manager Michael became very belligerent and argumentative (although I remained calm) about my having to return the product, or else I would be billed. Realizing that Michael was taking this matter too personally, I asked to speak with his supervisor. He said that his Direct Supervisor was Tracy but I would "never" be able to speak with her. I'll be sending the product back, but I also want others to not be "taken" as I was. I haven't ordered many supplements such as this, but I have NEVER had to return the product if I was guaranteed a risk free trial.
