Stay away from this company, they use non trained techs who do dnot know the first thing about Wallpaper Stripping, Spackling gouged walls and Painting. First of all they kept putting the job off about 2 months adn never got back to you with any phone calls. This company has franchises adn the ones they sent to my house is Legend Painters LLC dba CertPro Painters . They sent out on person to do what they told me would be a 2 day job and took over 5 days in a 3 week span. The tech had a difficult time removing the Vnyl coated paper and was gouging the wall real bad that they needed to be spackled but after he did he did not sand the walls prpperly or smooth enough as after he painted you could see the line imperfections of the spakle that was not sanded down. I think if he had used professional equipment like a steamer instead of scoring the paper adn literaly strip it inch by small inch at a time for three days. When I complained to the boss once he had come over to start a backsplash for me he said there was nothing wrong with teh wall but he looked at it from a distance adn said that it was from the lustre paint that we chose whih is quite bull. the imperfections were not from teh paint but the spackle. He wanted to charge me more money to take acare of taht and also for touch up that were missed on the second coat. We argued really bad adn I wound up telling him to leave my house. He wanted his money and I told him that he failed to sign the contract adn I would only pay him a portion of the estimate. He said OK but would get teh remainder by other means, when he said that I told him to get out again and get all of it by other means. After complaining to CertaPro adn a week later they decide to repair some of teh imperfections s I told them did not need to do the bigger wall as I was going to wallpaper it since it was so badly damaged as long as we sign teh contract adn pay hima portion which i did. Once his man came back out there was a little improvement but not anywhere like a proffessional job as again teh tech did not first sand down teh imperfections but put more spackle on top of it and then sanded it down but again not smooth adn some imperfections could still be seen. I knew I was not getting anywhere with this company and I did not want to deal with them anymore in or out of court so I paid teh balance to get them out of my hair adn my house. The boss called me back after his tech left adn asked how everything went and I told him again that it was not done proffessionaly adn I told him not to come back tomorrow to dod a backplash for me as I did not trust them anymore and i ended teh conversaition. DO NOT USE CERTA PRO, SHOP AROUND.
