We had a certificate for airplane tickets anywhere in the contional US from a promotional package through Global Vacations. We did our part in complyling with the terms. We paid a promational fee of 150.00, supposably for taxes & any amount not used for this was to be refunded.
We were sent a copy of a letter stating we did not enclose our required ID copies for travelers.
I had the man at the post office check everything, since this was the second time the papers were sent through. The first time was also correct from our side of the bargan, but Certs seemed to find something they stated was wrong. So I went ahead and thought well maybe I did forget something. So I resent every thing. Having two different sources double checking things. I kept copies of it all, for proof!!! Well yesterday we received another letter saying we didn't send the photo copies and so forth our request was terminated completely. Them keeping $ 50.00 of our US postal money order.
I figure this is their scam to get money out of people and not have to issue the plane tickets.
I would not recomend this company to any one. We are not the first to be scamed by them. Unfortunatly we didn't know this at the time. But qwe have talked to a few other couples who have had the same scam done to them.
So my advice to anyone is STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY & ALSO GLOBAL VACATIONS since they will not stand behind the customer and the company's so called values.
Sincerely Phyllis Bohn
