Again, we deaf and hard of hearing people were let down by Channel 7's subtitling facilities.
Last night on 'Dance with the Stars' the subtitling was terrible, was downright rotten in fact. In the News before that the subtitles were not coming on either. I have noticed the decline in the quality of subtitling in recent months when at the beginning it was voted No 1 by deaf folks.
How would people react if the voices of commenators were of substandard level? Or if the voices came across in spurts and spasms? Yes, a major outcry!
I am tired that we deaf people are always 'at the bottom of the ladder' and marginalised and it is about time that a fair go be given us. I remember when subtitling first began, nearly all deaf people I knew always switched on to Channel 7 News and other programs all because Channel 7 was the first to subtitle (out of loyalty). I will ask around now and see if they the deaf folks are now disappointed with channel 7. I hope Channel 7 will look into this matter of why the subtitling was not effective last night. This morning the news subtitling was back to normal, great!

Channel 7. What a joke, to have the AFL game advertised all week and then not show it. It is a disgrace. I'm that angry right now it is beyond words. I have organised my friends to come around solely to watch this game as my friends are supporters of the Melbourne Demons and your general lack of AFL coverage prevents them watching their team. No wonder people are turning to pay TV at least they show their games that they have the rights to live. There are three channels that channel 7 currently are using and you do not put the telecast of the AFL on any till 11:30 at night. Instead you show a B grade children's movie. I have to say it again, WHAT A JOKE. I will not be watching any of your programing again. Channel 7 = JOKE

I am writing to complain about the television show Jersey Shore i was horrified to see this show is being played here in Australia, not only is it getting air time at a popular time slot, double episodes are also being played during the daytime. I am in the youth work industry and every day we are facing trouble with our young impressionable minds being exposed to material about sex, alcohol, violence and distburbing behaviour. These children go on to mimic what they see on the television. If channel seven cares about the future of our teenagers it will stop playing Jersey Shore all together, there is nothing talented about a group of young people engaging in sexual behaviour whilst promoting dancing on table tops and drinking copious amounts of alcohol. I myself am in my early twenties and i believe this show will rot the minds of anyone who watches it, the majority of programs on television lately have sexual connotations and i think it is disgusting something needs to be changed!!!

Channel 7 have been advertising Winners & Losers at 8.30pm Tuesday nights since it was first aired so why the hell since the dumbest talent show (which have no talent) aired it has been put back til 9pm???Take the silly no talent show off and put the Winners & Losers back on 8.30!!!

What is the go with these pointless Ads?? Are they ads?? What are they and why are they? You could at least give us some information as to where these pictures are taken. As for this years AFL's coverage... your channel is full of some pointless waste of time programes you could at least show half of the AFL games.
