the movers were 2.5 hours late then threw our boxes and furniture on thetruck, outright lied when they damaged my entertainment center, took them 4.5 hours to get somewhere that only takes 2.5 hours, just dumped out boxes in our apt not putting them in the rooms where they belonged, boxes marked fragile were found on their side, , upside down or under a big pile of other boxes, numerous items were broken and to top it all off they had actually appriased our move at 1900 which is why we went with them. they estimated we had 8000 lbs of stuff and then they told us we owed them 2500!! and we had 10, 000 lbs of stuff. the appraiser had been doing this for 10 years but underestimated by 25% and 600 dollars. had they estimated correctly we never would have went with them. when we called to complain neil and godwin - the two men we dealt with were exceptionally rude and nasty. we moved 5 times in 6 years and never had a problem. we never had any items damaged and the movers were always on time and respectful of our belongings until we used charles movers. they are terrible and i would never use them again!
